Resort Sixty is my favorite yet! The staff is a delight, and so are the guests we have met each time we come. The resort is DIRECTLY on the Gulf of Mexico and is absolutely stunning. Sunrises and sunsets are not to be missed steps from your door. Beach chairs are provided but are kept locked up for Resort Aixty Six use only, so you are guaranteed a chair when you are ready to spend time on the beach. Relaxing on the gulf is my favorite, but the beautiful homes, the quaintness of the island, and the amazing restaurants (Ugly Grouper!) have us coming back each year!

This resort is the perfect place for relaxation. Beautiful beach, not overcrowded, plenty of space for couples and families too. Fantastic sunsets, soft white sand and sparkling clear water at your doorstep. This resort is by far one of the most friendliest resorts I have visited, both the staff and the guests. The FREE trolley on the island to get you around is a plus, no driving and no gas required. The trolley gets you to all the hot spots from the grocery to the beaches. I found this place by accident and fell in love with it.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom unit on 2nd floor overlooking the outdoor whirlpool below and pool area -- the week before Christmas 2010. The great white sand beach is only steps away, the 1 bedroom unit was very roomy with large bedroom closet, hall closet, nice furniture, etc. Kitchen was great for cooking. It was quiet the week before Christmas so I enjoyed the heated pool and whirlpool peacefully. They were great and cleaned nightly! Felt safe - there was a night guard watching everything. Anna Maria Island is laid back and lovely -- lots of rentals, some churches, some small shops by the Pier Cafe, a great historic beach restaurant 30 mins. walk up the beach with indoor or outdoor seating to sit and watch the BLUE water and get sun. Clean small resort and clean, white sand beach - just loved my stay.

This is a small friendly resort . Nice pool and gas grills if you want to cook outdoors. The beach is only a few steps away. The staff are extremely friendly and our room was spotless. We stayed in a studio with a hideaway bed. If we left the bed down things were a little tight for space ,but otherwise a nice place to stay. Anna Maria Island is beautiful. Very tropical with lots of restaurants nearby. dalek14

We traded into Resort Sixty-Six two years ago and enjoyed our stay very much. The beach was beautiful and pristine. Our unit over looking the Gulf had a breath taking view! The two screened porches adjoining the living room and bedroom made it easy to view the magnificent sunsets. We would highly recommend this resort!
