The setting is beautiful, right on the water.
This is an older resort, but well-maintained.
There is a small pool, and several boat docks.
The room furnishings were more than
adequate, however, the dark carpeting needs
to be replaced with a tile or wood flooring. The
staff was friendly and helpful. It is a quiet
resort, which seems to cater to the older
guest. A car is necessary to fully enjoy the
area. We hiked in several of the numerous
parks, and DID have a snake cross our path -
be careful! The hiking trails are very well
marked. A visit to the city is a must to learn
and see the history of the Hot Springs!
