The beach and room is what this resort is all about. The beach could not be better. 90 degree water in Sept. Well groomed sand and very clean beach.

The first impression when you arrive is not good. Very ugly exterior and very uninviting office/reception. Elevator is hot and slow.

The rooms are very spacious; but not very modern. I would like to see granite counter tops and more kitchen stuff, maybe a jacuzzi. However the rooms are comfortable.

The building is the worst piece of architecture I've ever seen; but if all you want a good room and a great beach without the thrills, this is a great, practical place. Our front door was near the trash chute which smelled really bad. If you make it from the lobby to the room or from the beach to your room, all is good.

Also it's dead center between Clearwater and touristy places. Nice and quiet residental area but not too far from restaurants and stores. Good views from ALL balconies.

The hot tub is big and faces the ocean. The tikki hut/bar looks good but it's not attended very well. Don't expect too many exotic drinks. There is a liquor store across the street. Probably best to make your own.

The pool is fine. Nothing fancy, but large enough.

Free hotdogs on Wednesday and free donuts on Tuesday. Ain't the Hilton but it's great for beach bums and fishing. Don't expect game rooms, lazy rivers and stuff like that. Very basic. But the beach is incredible.

For restaurants, we liked Guppy's, Crabby Bills and Shells.

Did I mention the beach is great? You gotta go fishing. Clearwater marina has many reasonable charters. Incredible fish.

A beautiful resort in a quiet area on the edge of Indian Rocks Beach. We have owned for over 30 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else

Awesome Resort. Right on the Gulf Beach. Large units. Been staying there for 25 years. Large pool and Hot tub, Handy cap assesable. Security Parking .

Cameron Cove is a wonderful, clean resort right on the beach in beautiful INdian ROcks beach. There are great, friendly people running the place. It is close to restaurants, shops, and there is a trolley to get around. We have been going for ten years and have no plans to stop any time soon!

We loved our stay. On the water, restaurants nearby, french bakery 2 doors away. Great location and resort.

Camaron Cove is a great place to relax and enjoy listening to the surf and watching the sunset from our deck..Great staff and great facility! This unit is about 1450 square feet. it is the best time share I have ever stayed.

These condos are very large, all 2 bedroom full kitchen 2 baths. While it is an older building and are not modern they are well maintained and clean. All units have ocean view Pool, grounds, General areas clean and well cared for. Staff is professional, helpful and busy. No kids activities but staff do offer breakfast gathering and hotdog lunch once a week. Beach is clean, white sand and great for shell 🐚 searching. We would return

Very nice resort located directly on the beach and gulf in Indian Rocks Beach. All rooms are large 2 bedroom and 2 bath that sleep six. Has a lovely view of the beach and gulf from your own private balcony. Full kitchen with all appliances. Cable TV in living room and both bedrooms. Rooms have been renovated recently. Cannot believe how big the rooms are for a beach timeshare. Facilities have a swimming pool and large whirlpool. Tiki Hut with gas grills and covered picnic area. Resort is only a few yards from the beach and gulf. Staff is very friendly. No high pressure sales. Parking is limited in the summers as is with all beach resorts. Would highly recommend this resort and will go back again. one of the best resorts we have stayed at.

Location, location, location, the Cameron Cove Resort has it all. It’s located on the quiet, beautiful, fine white sandy beach of Indian Rock, Florida with each condo unit having a balcony overlooking the Gulf and beach. It was built a couple decades ago. We have exchanged for many different timeshares. You will be lucky to get into this one. We exchanged into Cameron Cove the last week of January 2012. Fortunately, the weather was warm and sunny. We flew into Tampa and this timeshare is about a 20 minute drive away. It’s the only timeshare on a beach located closest to the Tampa airport. We arrived early, but they allowed us to check-in an hour early. The check-in staff was prompt and helpful. There is on-site parking for one car. There are forty units on five floors, the elevator is fairly rapid and the rooms are large. The master bedroom included a king size bed and adjoining bathroom, the guest room shared a bathroom that also served a sofa sleeper in the living room for a total of six occupants. The furnishings are a little dated, but the place was clean and very well maintained. We had a light bulb to change and a cupboard door that needed fixing and they were fixed immediately. There are plenty of towels and pillows and they provided an exchange in mid-week. Laundry washing and drying equipment are on the second floor for a small fee. There is free wi-fi service. The three TV’s are not large, but adequate. There is a rather large outdoor swimming pool with many lounge chairs around it and a separate large hot pool. Adjacent is a sizeable area with picnic tables and barbeque with a private entrance to the beach. Inexpensive rental beach chairs are available. We enjoyed their Monday get acquainted breakfast and their midweek hotdog lunch. There is a plethora of excellent seafood restaurants in the area and a French pastry shop and breakfast restaurant very close by. There is adjoining public transportation, a free bird sanctuary and a wetland sanctuary nearby. Your family will love this resort, if they enjoy the beach, seafood and sunbathing. Of course, we walked the beach, visited Ringling Bros Museum and the Dali Museum. There is much to see in Tampa and surrounding area. Finally, we had no sales pitch. The units are mostly sold.

We are here now in unit 301 so it's a great time to look around and write a review. The location is excellent, right on the beach with every unit having an unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony, living room and master bedroom. We are on the south side and I'm glad of this because we get the sun all day and can see the sunset. This is a quiet end of the beach but there are cafes and restaurants close by with wonderful outdoor patios and seafood specials. The grocery stores are about five miles away though, on the mainland.

The units are all two bedroom and impressively large with the ones at the front of the building being the largest, according to Bob, the maintenance man. They are shabby in spots but the beds seem new and the appliances are uptodate as is the carpet. By shabby I mean that the hems on the curtains are down in spots and some of the furniture has seemingly permanent dirt, like the arms of the chairs. The bathrooms and kitchen cabinetry are definitely old. But once again, according to Bob, all of these matters are on the "to do" list.

The outdoor pool is heated and clean with lots of chairs. We didn't attend the breakfast or hotdog lunch so can't comment.

Overall, a very comfortable stay.

We stayed 2 weeks at Camaron Cove in early Feb. 2008. We were surprised at how spacious our 2 BR suite was, and the big terrace off our BR & LR, both with sliding glass doors. Gorgeous views from our terrace of the gulf. Restaurants are all over the place. Right up the street (heading north) is beautiful Clearwater. Going south is Madeira Beach & St. John's Pass with a boardwalk and the best shopping. Also not far from Tampa, we went to the pier and took a 2 hr. boat ride. If you have a car go to any of the Bealls stores for great values! Bonus: Very friendly staff and Marty, head of housekeeping is a peach, she arranged it so we could stay in the same suite for our 2nd week.

We loved this resort. Nice and quiet, Clean and BIG! We had the best view from the Ocean Front very large balcony Our Unit was 505 and I guess it's one of two "Pent House" units. We traded our Ocean Front Myrtle Beach 2 bedroom 2 bath Unit and were very pleased. In fact, we're going again in 2008. Great Location!!!!!!!!

The units are very large 2 Bedrooms with full kitchens. The balcony is overlooking the gulf and you can watch the most beautiful sunsets. You literally walk out the door and are steps away from the sand. The beach had the most amazing seashells. The pool & whirlpool are very clean & warm. It also has a nice area with a tiki bar and picnic area. It is really nice to have a tables next to the beach so you can enjoy the ocean without getting sand in your food.

Close to Clearwater & Tampa and close enough to drive to Disney for the day. Also a must see nearby is Fort DeSota Beach, named America's Best Beach in 2005.

Arrived 15 minutes later than our pre- notification time of late arrival. Took about 30 minutes to locate security and obtain a key. Staff was not unfriendly, but on a scale of 1-10 about a 5. Our stay was during the week of July 2-9, 2005, and in an oceanfront room. Rooms were spacious, clean, and furnished well. Nice beach, pool, tiki hut, and gilling area with covered picnic tables available. Dolphins were seen from balcony each morning. Nice restaurants within a short drive of the resort. Tremendous fireworks display to be seen on July 4. The resort is excellent for visitors without children. There are no child friendly entertainment venues within walking distance. My wife and I are seniors and were joined by our two children and their spouses. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

We arrived early and could not obtain a key. Were told we would have to return after 4pm.Front desk staff were paticuliarly unfriendly and not very helpful. Our room had bugs which are common in Florida. I didnt want to see them on vacation. When I had a home in Fla we had to exterminate monthly.I alerted staff and they offered to exterminate. We decided to check out. Our room faced away from the beach it faced another row of condos and a parking lot. I was awakened each morning by the trash trucks. This beach here at Cameron cove is quite beautiful I believe owners have oceanfront rooms. Staff refused a switch, our rooms are preassigned!Units are large with nice deck area off of living room.Bedrooms are on opposite ends of condo nice for privacy.Outside pool was clean and large. Seperate area for large hottub. Tiki hut for shelter which contained several BQ grills.Resort had many senior guests not family friendly to families with small children. Stay was first week of May 2005.

We stayed here in January 2001 and had a beautiful unit situated right on the beach on the 4th floor. The unit was great but the weather was cold so we couldn't sit on the balcony or walk the beach. We did lots and lots of shopping though and ate at some great places. Would return but in February next time.
