Ocean High Reviews & Ratings

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which despite complaints from other reviews, was cleaned beautifully. Amazing water view and LOVED the balcony & dock, it also had a fireplace. You can not beat the location, just a few blocks from the end of the boardwalk and a tram runs in both directions for $4 each way if you don't want to walk the entire way. The master bedroom was not private like we would expect because it has a window sized opening to the second floor living room below. There is no noise control between the spaces which was awkward when we had guests utilizing the living room couch bed, but didn't bother us when we didn't. There is no heat or A/C vents in that third floor bedroom, air is exchanged through that open space. In the dead of summer, this bedroom was considerably warmer than the rest of the unit. There is a ceiling fan in that bedroom which helps considerably, but we had to make it colder in the rest of the unit than we like to make it comfortable on that top level. The kiddos downstairs just bundled up. The service was exceptional, both housekeeping and maintenance had speedy fast response times and were as friendly as can be. The unit we stayed at is in need of updating, it was tired with cracked floor tiles and a carpet that didn't quite fit the room but it was a great value, so this was not a deterrent. We would definitely stay here again!

We have owned at Ocean High since the early 90's. The resort is located on the bay side so we bring our boat and we can dock it on the bay or in the canal (which is much calmer). We love to ride our bikes on the board walk which is an easy 5 block ride away. Over the years we have had different management companies. The current management has an office at the resort and has been very good about dealing with any problem/situations you have. We gave the resort five stars because of the location and the constant maintenance and upgrading of the units. On the bay side, they have added extremely nice piers into the bay in which everyone enjoys crabbing and fishing from or just sitting and enjoying the beautiful view of the bay. The resort is located on the bay side and is a short walk to the beach.(3 blocks?) The location is really nice because you are right on top of everything but still located in a more residential area by the bay with your own docks/piers and unit balconies. We like to read the reviews for places that we are going to. We noticed there are not many reviews about Ocean High and that is why we are writing this review. Overall, Ocean High is a very nice place, in an excellent location. A trip we always look forward to.

- We enjoyed the panoramic bay views from our private balcony—morning coffee never tasted so good. Location was perfect to explore Ocean City without a noise between beach, bay, and boardwalk. While the unit was vintage comfort, the staff treats you like a family. We had a relaxing getaway full of calming breezes and golden sunsets.

Great convenience to all attractions in Ocean City. Enclosed heated pool. Tennis court. Located next is the Jolly Roger Amusement Park. Also, resort is on the Bay and 3 blocks from the ocean. 2 more blocks south to 27th st is the start of the boardwalk, where you can catch the tram to 'downtown' OC.

my family has owned a unit at ocean high since the early 80's. so units are not new but our unit and grounds/pool have been kept in good condt.altough i have not stayed in the unit for few years now(have exchanged for fla.property)unit cleaned well most years.but did have 1 year or 2 that cleaning of unit prior to our check was not so good.reported it to propert mgt.company. updates and refurbishing ongoing as needed.bayside townhouses roomy.close to everything. beach,fishing,amusement/waterpark, shopping,good food.great for families.

unit was fine as far as size and location,but it was not clean.the upper bathroom was not cleaned at all.the toilet was dirty, the shower still had articles of the former tenants in it.the fridge had crumbs and food particles left in it.the cookware was stored under the sink on an old floor.i admit the resort is twenty some years old but that is no excuse for not cleaning it properly.checked in 9-21 checked out 9-24
