  • Unfortunately we are unable to use our timeshare this year. We are very disappointed as we love the location and all the onsite amenities.

We have stayed here many times, it’s our favorite place to come. Easy, comfortable, has everything we need and close to all the activities we want to do! The resort team is awesome, quick to respond and always polite and professional. They do a fabulous job maintaining the grounds and the units are always spotless! Tons of free parking too!

By far this resort is the best in the desert. It has the most gorgeous landscaping, the gardens are lush, beautiful and immaculate. The pools are endless and is the only resort in the area with two adult pools and two family pools. Every unit has a wonderful outdoor patio with fireplace and the grounds are wonderful for walking with winding sidewalks and lots of flowing plants. Tons of amenities for singles, couples and families. We love the tennis courts, basketball courts, movie theatre and free arcade. The gym has the latest equipment and had a/c for a great workout. Rent free games at member reception as well as play ping pong on the pool decks. So much to do and enjoy.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Palm Desert is surrounded by unspoiled natural beauty, and its proximity to popular attractions, like championship golf courses and the El Paseo Shopping District, combine to create an oasis of relaxation. Begin your mornings on your private patio, furnished with an outdoor gas fireplace, while taking in the scenic Coachella Valley views. Refresh with a dip in one of the adult-only outdoor pools, all-ages pools or hot tubs. Get a workout on the tennis court or at the fitness center. At night, cook up a meal on the barbecue grills or find entertainment in the game room.

We have stayed at Time Shares many times in the Desert. First time here at the Embarc and we will be back. Our unit was a 2 bedroom 2 bath on the ground floor. We requested an updated unit with the new addition of a Jenn-air stove with oven and larger island for dining, while the outside table was in the hot sun at dinner time. Our request was granted. The unit was very nice sized with quiet air conditioning thru out. Each building consists of three two bedroom units on the ground floor and three one bedroom units upstairs. Every building has a self-serve laundry (no charge) with new appliances. There is a group of buildings in the adult section with quiet pool areas and views of the golf course. Also, a group of buildings surround the family pool area. The grounds are amazing, very mature with beautiful plants that are some of the largest we have ever seen. The staff from check-in the check-out were fantastic.

This a delightful hidden-away resort with beautifully-maintained grounds in a tranQuil setting. The staff are all friendly. + helpful, + the bed deliciously comfortable. The southwest color palette is vibrant + fun, + the patios spacious + furnished with comfy seating + table.

We would give this 5 stars but for a few shortcomings. The absence of a garbage disposal made preparing + cleaning up after meals inconvenient, + there was no washer/dryer in the unit. There is no dining table - just an island bar with uncomfortable bar stools shared by the kitchen sink - a bit cramped. We used the coffee table or the patio table instead for meals. The TV's are small, the small frig + freezer are under the counter so you have to crouch to use, + the whole unit (first floor where all 2 bedrooms are located) is dark even with the lights on, although from the first floor you can walk right outsideto your patio, the pool, etc. from the french doors + there is no elevator to the second floor.

The "fitness center" + locker rooms are small + limited, + there is no cafe, market etc.at the resort. You have to go to the shopping center (nearby), or go to the adjacent golf resort's restaurant half mile down the road.

If you are planning a family vacation the Marriott Desert Springs offers children many more activities, + the villas in Villas 1 are much larger. We became accustomed to the smaller Desert Willow unit but also had a 2 bedroom for just 2 of us. The 1 bedroom with small bathroom counter, frig + area for pullout sleeper sofa would be a challenge for a family.

For size + amenities we will return to our own Marriott Desert Springs Villas 1. For pure relaxation we will rent out our Marriott + return to Desert Willow if the price is right.

Wonderful laid back feeling - beautiful grounds and landscaping. Felt like we were away from all stress and worries as we relaxed on the thick padded chaise lounges. Nice to know that there are "adult-only" pools so we could relax without the noise of kids playing. Although great to know there was lots to do for kids so we can come back with family. Shopping center with restaurants, grocery store and more right next to resort. The one bedroom unit we had was spacious and very clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. We would definitely come again.

We stayed at the Club Intrawest at the end of March 2007 in a one bedroom unit. The weather was great and in the high 70s low 80s. The resort is nicely decorated, with ample space, and the master bedroom was large enough to a have separate bathtub in the bedroom (different but nice). We loved the shower, and off of the shower was a door that led outside to an outside shower that was enclosed.

Our unit was upstairs and had an outdoor patio that was huge with a fireplace and sitting area. There was also another separate balcony off of the living room area that overlooked the golf course and a small lake. There is a laundry room in each building with no cost for use of the washers/dryers, and laundry soap provided (fantastic!).

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. There is a movie theatre with sitting for about 50 people and we could request a movie for showing in the evenings. You could also get movies for your unit at no additonal cost (greeat!!)

The resort is situated between two golf courses and there is very nice area for walks on the street adjacent to the resort. We ate at the City Wok restaurant nearby in the Ralph's shopping plaza several times, and the food was very good and reasonable.

This was a very nice resort and we would definitely go there again. The only complaint that we had about our particular unit was that the flooring throughout the unit was ceramic and in areas it was extremely beat up with deep scratches in the tile, and markings from stains, even though the tile was dark in color. Other than that, a beautiful resort to visit, and we would definitely go there again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit during April. Being from the East Coast, the weather was awesome. Each set of buildings have their own pool. The units are large and uniquely styled. The grounds are simply beautiful. My sons played basketball under the lights. The resort offers plenty to do and the golf is great! The Palm Springs area is lovely with lots of great restaurants.

Club Intrawest- Palm Desert is in the middle of the Desert Willows golf course. There are approx 12 two-story building with three units on each floor. The lower units open to patio next to the lawn and pool areas. The upper floor units have a large balcony with beautiful vistas of the golf course and the mountains beyond. All the units are roomy and beautifully decorated. Each building has it own BBQ and a free laundry room. The separate main building has a huge pool, spa, tennis courts and BB hoops. There is also a theater were they show DVDs at night and a free video game room for the kids.

Resort has a nice grocery store complex within walking distance and is across from the Marriott Desert Springs resort.

We stayed twice in December with daytime temps in the 70s. It was cold at night but the patios have gas fireplaces. Also did a day visit in late June and it is very hot >110. So golf in the morning before it gets unbearable.

Club Intrawest is “points only membership” and there are no home resorts, the club decides the type and dates the units are available, so it may be difficult to trade in during peak winter and spring dates.
