Great resort pretty much in the middle between Kona and Hilo. Close proximity to the volcano!! Right down the road from the black sand beach with sea turtles there everyday. Nice pool and hot tub and grilling area and true island feel with the layout of the units and the furnishing. NOTE: Golf course no longer exists, but the black sand beach is where to be. Locals selling coconuts and Big Island stuff near the beach as well.

The best points about this resort is that first it is one of the few places to stay in the southern part of the Big Island. Second, two black sand beaches are within a 5 minute walk, one which is small but you may have it all to yourself. Best of all these days, you are within an hours drive to Volcano National Park which is erupting every couple of weeks.

Beautiful Resort located on the golf courses on tropical side of the Big Island- Hilo side. You will have an opportunity to explore Volcano's National Park (Kilauea's Lava flows) 20 min drive, famous Black Sand Beach 3 min walking distance, Hilo only 35 min drive. Airport Name: The nearest airport is Hilo “ Big Island". On-site Activities: BBQ Area, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Outdoor Pool, Beach, Fishing, Hiking, Historic Sites, Picnic Area, Scuba, Diving/Snorkeling. Regional Activities A multi-hued patchwork of scenery collides with the calming waters of the Pacific Ocean and beckons visitors to islands almost wholly volcanic in origin. Great stretches of lava beds stream from the dramatic fireworks of restless Kilauea and Mauna Loa, and glistening beaches reflect glorious rainbows and spectacular Hawaiian sunsets against a backdrop of rainforests. Adventure-seekers, enticed by tropical breezes and a sense of paradise, will surf, snorkel and sail in the warm, reef-protected waters surrounding the Hawaiian Islands. Nearby Activities:Beach, Fishing, Hiking, Historic Sites, Picnic Area, Scuba, Diving/Snorkeling, State Park

You are right on the Black Sand Beach and a good golf course. You are a short drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Great quiet getaway.
