Excellent resort, well maintained, friendly people, and nice location.

Always look forward to our weeks at the Towers The resort has been refurbished with new flat screen TVs, new drapes, couches, new very comfortable beds, and a new entertainment system. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

We were there in 2014, its lovely, great location, shopping, walking spaces, golf is rustic but fun, and restaurants are super, and close by, best to have a car for night life, the beach has chairs included, and pool towels are not an issue anymore (previous review), fitness room works fine, best beach, has great ribs and chicken.

We stayed at this resort week 51, 2008. This resort was very nice, clean and upscale, and very very quiet. The front desk staff, and cleaning staff, were very nice helpful. The grounds and pool area are beautiful. The room was very large, with marble flooring, very nice huge bathroom with custom made cabinets and upscale glass shower doors. There were two lovely balconies that we enjoyed. If you have a room in the right angle, the view is really gorgeous. The only negatives at this resort 1). The bed in the bedroom was so uncomfortable, my husband and I had a very difficult time sleeping and 2). The towel person for pool towels was a total dissaster (keep your receipts). 3). The resort is not on a beach, and again for us, it was too quiet, no entertainment, not much to do. Re Towels: The resort wanted to charge us $300 for towels we returned. Many other guests had the same problem so keep every towel receipt you get, and make sure it is right and signed. It took at least 30 - 45 minutes to clear this issue up.

Although still a bit hurricane hit, still a beautiful golf course and wonderful private beach area. Wish they would reopen the casino and the other portions though.
