Shawnee Fairways is a beautiful resort on the Delaware River in the Poconos, Pennsylvania. Many amenities including game room, indoor/outdoor pools, indoor basketball, tennis/ pickleball court. Mini golf .Shawnee Inn has a 18 hole golf course. Craft brewery, 3 restaurants and tavern. Also General store, with food and essentials , 5 minute walk from the unit.30 minute drive to Mount Airy Casino. The unit is spacious with living , dining, kitchen, 1/2 bath and laundry room on the 1st floor. 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the 2nd floor. Also front porch to take in fresh Pocono air. Tubing and canoeing on Delaware river. Plenty of activities on site or nearby. You’ll love this resort, whether with family or friends.

Beautiful mature trees, easy walking trails, excellent golf course. Week 20 typically backs up to Memorial Day weekend. My late husband thoroughly enjoyed the golf courses. As a college professor, week 20 was at the end of the semester and Shawnee is a great location to unwind. Fairway village is walking distance to the Shawnee Playhouse where we enjoyed excellent amateur theater and the Shawnee General Store which served very good breakfast sandwiches. The area restaurants are very good - the Gem & Keystone Brew Pub has great beers, sandwiches, and entrees. Saen Thai Cusine has been there since 1989 - delicious Thai food, reasonably priced. And there are excellent restaurants in nearby Stroudsburg.

This is a Wyndham resort now and there was lots to do - river canoeing and kayaking is fun, great golf course in good shape. Theater productions are good and inexpensive. Kitchen is well supplied and beds were new with triple sheeting. Landscaping is well maintained and attractive.

The Fairway Village is adjacent to the Delaware River and the scenary is beautiful and relaxing. There were a lot of great activities for our kids including access to the Shawnee water park. The outlet malls are less then ten minutes from Shawnee.

Villa was adequate,Staff was fairly unfriendly. Food on site was barely passable including sam sneeds which had just opened. Go off site for good meals.
