Chenay Bay Beach Resort Reviews & Ratings

The resort came under new ownership and management in 2007. The new owners have completed the pool renovations, added new and more beach front equipment, remodeled the restaurant and bar, added new landscaping, and improved the walking paths through out the resort. There is also active wireless internet connectivity provided with your stay.

This is a unique resort which has 50 total cottage units. The small resort size really does provide a you with an easy way of meeting and making new friends (if you want to). The newly expanded and remodeled beachfront bar is a great place to do so, and it is only steps from the pool or the beach.

Very Nice ... one room cottages ... private. You can snorkel right from the beach.

The only thing I did not like is there is just 1 restaurant.

Great views & a smaller, family place. Extremely friendly people, great food. Very nice bay to snorkle right off beach. Little wind as compared to many other places on the island. Owners constantly upgrading units with high end features like marble and granite. Each unit offers wonderful views / sunsets!

We own at this resort, and it is truly beautiful. HOWEVER, we encountered quite a problem with our credit card which we were asked to present upon check-in for incidentals.

At check-out, our card had been charged $5,098 for fraudulent charges. It took a year and a half and a lot of legal hassle to get it straightened out.

We love the resort, but hate the current management. Be very, very careful if you go there.

This resort is quiet and peaceful. Beautiful beach. They have free snorkel equipment, for use and the use of kayaks at no charge. They have sail boats for rent also.

These are Individual units. Very nice. Just 10 min from town.

Restaurant food was good, but menu is limited.
