The location of the resort is very convenient to shops and grocery stores. The beach is amazing, very private and well kept. Grills were always available when we needed them. Staff was friendly and helpful! Parking is limited if you have extra vehicles, but not if you only have one. We had a great time!

We bought a one bedroom sight unseen and like the resort so much, we purchased a 2 bedroom unit on our first visit. The resort is so serene, the beach is so beautiful, and the employees are a delight. We also own in Palm Beach, Florida, but much prefer Hideaway Sands. Would highly recommend the place.

Just spent a week in my newly acquired timeshares and was delighted since I bought my units "sight unseen." The resort is undergoing a complete rehab, with new management after 12 years.

The pool area is redone with new jacuzzi, heated pool, etc. The bathrooms have been upgraded with new bathtubs, etc. Everything is nice, neat and CLEAN.

Hideaway Sands is directly ON the beach. The front of the resort (beachside) has cabanas, tiki tables, etc. Plenty of space to relax oceanfront with family and friends.

The studio units feature a queen sleeper sofa and a double murphy bed, kitchen table for 4, ample kitchen space, fully equipped. The 1 bedroom units have 1 bedroom queen bed and a queen sofa sleeper in the LR. The 2 bedroom units are townhouses with a large great room, 1/2 bath and kitchen down (with sleeper sofa) and 2 bedrooms and full bath up.

Staff is GREAT! Very pleasant, helpful, nice nice people.

A big bonus is that the trolley stop is right infront of the resort. So, for less than $10 for the week, you can ride almost anywhere you want in the St. Petersburg area. And, there is an airport shuttle to the resort ($18), so if you wanted to save on rental cars, you could rent only when you needed to go out of the area - Avis is right down the street a couple of blocks away.

This is a great, clean, economical resort to stay in while in St.Pete's area.

Great Private Beach Area, with cabanas on the beach. Small unit, but decorated and furnished very well. Nice pool area and staff friendly. Parking a problem if you have any guests. Nice summer getaway. Plenty of restaurants and stores along the beach. Going through major renovations fall of 2007, so want to see what it will be like next summer.
