The unit had some nice upgrades and renovations, and love parking right at the back door. It is steps from the award winning Pass-a-grille Beach (southern end of St. Pete Beach), with the nicest beach in Florida in my opinion. It is a wide white sand beach perfect for walking, swimming and sunset watching. Pass-a-grille is a hidden gem of a small village, within walking distance, and has top rated restaurants and unique shops.

Studio, one, or two bedroom units can accommodate various needs. It is located within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping, fishing and fun! The location is on a peninsula so you can view sunrise on one side and terrific sunsets over the Gulf in front of the resort. Newly updated kitchen, seating on the veranda in front of the unit, and nice ocean air. So relaxing, but with many activities are close by!

Read more »We just got back from renting a one bedroom apartment #206 (1 King bed, two full closets w/large TV) (Full size pull out bed in front/dining room with extra-large TV) at Camelot by the Sea Resort, St Pete's Beach here off Redweek. Both areas have a ceiling fan with air conditioning/heat if needed. We were very pleased with a great location being quiet and beautiful. It's reasonably priced and has all the main necessities in the kitchen (Stove, microwave, full fridge/freezer, sink, dishwasher, toaster, blender, utensils) located near multiple restaurants serving delicious Grouper within walking distance. There are also several more up the beach with just over a 2 mi beautiful beach walk that we did on two separate days towards the Publix. There is also a Winn Dixie not much farther north in the main section so you can save money and not have to eat out all week. The previous rater and commenter was very descriptive and right on the money. From here we enjoyed waking up looking at the beach, eating breakfast on the balcony/walkway and seeing beautiful sunsets in the evening right across the street. Camelot has sun shades, chairs, toys and bogie boards to loan so you won't have to worry about bringing your own unless you want to. We also went to Bush Gardens (40 min dr), SeaWorld Orlando (1 hr 40 min dr) which we bought tickets on AAA.com (Free Secure WiFi) for a $10 discount each ticket and used the tickets off our Iphones scanned at the parks. We also visited Clearwater Marine Aquarium Rescue and Winter's Dolphin Tale Adventure (40 min dr) and the Spongeorama/Greek storefronts in Tarpon Springs (30 min dr from the aquarium which we did on the way home north.) We didn’t have time for an affordable sightseeing dolphin and sunset or Shell Key Island cruise located several blocks walking distance on the inland side but we've heard great things about it. Staff was nice and only there during business hours (It's a very adult responsible setting.) Clean, comfortable hot tub/pool/shuffleboard/ping pong/washers and dryer are all located in a fenced and secure gated area being controlled by keycard access is a super plus. Note: the toll road (682) from St. Pete's to 275 to/from Tampa is an affordable $.75 each way. There are so many positives that it's just too much to say. We were very pleased being two adults and felt safe and secure with our 13 and 14 year old daughters. We will return again!

It is a small resort, consisting of about 20 - 30 rooms. OUrs had a HUGE window looking out onto the beach. The beach is wide with white sand and easy access across a very quiet road. The pool, hot tub, shuffleboard and laundry facilities are at the rear of the resor behind the parking lor. That sounds like of nasty, but they have done it up so nicely. Once you open the gate to the enclousre you have no idea you are anywhere near a parking lot. We were extermely happy with this resort. There is a basketball court, children's park and a cute little "diner" on the beach within walking distance. Head down the beach in the early morning to join the locals for breakfast on the beach at this diner. There are a few great little seafood and steak restaurants all within walking distance also. The resort is situated among mostly private residences, so the surroundings are very non-commercial. I actually forget what dates we were there, but there was also a HUGE jazz festival on the beachfront at that time. Cars were parked miles away to attend this great event, which was in easy walking distance from the resort. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
