The Village Green at Stowe Reviews & Ratings

Perhaps THE MOST IDEAL location just a mile out of town center yet on the scenic and wonderful walking path by the river with restaurants dotting the path, the Village Green is an ideal place to see fall foliage, to visit quaint shops, with myriads of recreational activities to be involved in. Staff is efficient to the nth degree and very courteous. Grounds are large, spacious and beautifully kept up. Pool good size, tennis courts in great shape and game room a PLUS for all aged kids.

This resort is situated on the Stowe Mtn access road in the middle of everything. Surrounded by a golf course, the resort is quiet but close to restaurants and shopping. The ski resort is minutes away. The perfect ski condo. The units are spacious and clean but not luxurious. This is a great place to spend a week with the kids.

Excellent place for a true skier. Stayed 10 times in the past 2003 - 2009. Bought a 2 bedroom in 2008 and another in 2009. Will definitely go every year along with Park City, Utah and Wolf Creek, Colorado trips.

This resort is in a spectacular location, on beautiful, flat ground in the middle of Stowe and the surrounding mountains. We especially enjoy the summer when you can walk to the hot air balloon, fourth of July, and other country festivals. Now, not only are right on the Stowe golf course, and the Stowe bike path, but you are next door to the Stoweflake Spa, recently refurbished to be one of the top ten in the country - and you have access!In the winter the best skiing in Vermont - Family or couples friendly - with nice size condos - a much underrated resort.

Great location for winter, but even better in the summer. Right near award winning bike trail - the most scenic of the dozens I've been on - and across the street from the hot air balloon launches (small street, lots of fields and open space all around). Lots of open lawns - great for kids - small patios ideal for bbq and watching balloons launch overhead! Town of Stowe is beautiful and there's great hiking, many 4 star restaurants, farmer's market and lots of shops within walking distance yet so quiet at night! Furniture a bit dated, but clean and in good shape. Units are large and pleasant. Kids loved swimming in the river nearby at "secret garden spot" and we enjoyed the horseback riding, picnic at the concerts, walking to golf course w/driving range and taking the tour at Ben & Jerry's! (nearby).

Fireplaces are great in cold weather, firewood is supplied free of chage (2001).

Clean and friendly but not luxury.
