We have vacationed here for many years. The rooms are clean and typical of Vermont lodges. There is a pool, hot tub, sauna and fireplace to relax in front of. The location is ideal as it is close to the slopes, and once you are back to the Inn, you do not need a car to get around the charming town or eat in one of the many restaurants. Dots is a favorite for the kids. My children learned to ski here as the school is exceptional and fun. This is a great spot for families and friends to enjoy all that Vermont offers.

Upon check-in, I found numerous lamps to be missing their light bulbs and a stove too dirty to use before I cleaned it. The unhelpful response at the front desk to my polite reporting of these observations was basically "...that's not my department...".

No small wonder (to me) that several times during my stay I found flyers stuck under my door offering numerous house-owned weeks for sale for very cheap prices. No thanks....

No place for ski storage (hello?? this IS ski season in ski country...) and no skis were allowed inside the building. What??? Hot tub was also broken, reportedly "awaiting parts", but I guess and accept that stuff just happens.

On the plus side, but certainly having nothing to do with the many and varied shortcomings of the resort, the skiing was great. Despite the extra driving required, I much preferred Okemo over Mt. Snow, although Mt. Snow is only a very few miles away from this "resort".

On balance, I went to ski, not to stay inside a timeshare, but I still wanted to offer a dissenting opinion here after seeing (in utter disbelief) alleged "5 star" ratings for this place. Based upon my own experience, such a stellar rating for this facility is simply completely unwarranted and undeserved. It's absolutely nothing great or in any way special.

We booked through RCI's Last Call Vacations and used our one bedroom unit for 4 nights. A great alternative to the very expensive Inns & Hotels in the area. Don't expect luxury, but the accomodations were comfortable and very clean. Furnishings basic - bedroom small. Plenty of closet space, bureaus. The pool very clean, towels provided, nice hot tub, racquetball court and ping pong. Outdoor amenities basic - bbq, small swing set. nICE classic NE porch with rockers and swing. Nice indoor sun porch with tables and chairs to play games or whatever. Lots of games to borrow. Wilmington a pretty tiny town equidistant from Bennington & Brattleboro, both charming large towns/small cities. Is convenient to several ski areas if you are here in winter. IF you were exchanging through RCI from a modern, jazzed up home timeshare, this will be very different. If you are okay with rustic, basic accomodations and plan to spend most of your time enjoying the many outdoor activities in the area, this may be right for you. Three stories, no elevator.

Our family had a lovely stay during Presidents' Week in a very spacious two bedroom unit. The resort is great for kids and has a beautiful indoor pool in a three story atrium. The hot tub has been replaced (no longer a "whiskey barrel" as shown on the website) and is now built in. Roadhouse Restaurant just up Route 100 is a great place for dinner. If skiing at Mount Snow, pack a lunch --- food (especially drinks) on the mountain is ridiculously over-priced. We highly recommend Crafts Inn.

What a beautiful old new england inn! Stayed during the summer of 2005 and booked again for a winter week.

There is enough onsite (pool, games etc.) for the kids during inclement weather. Wilmington is a lovely little Vermont town. A visit to Adams farm is a must.

The unit we stayed in was very spacious with two bedrooms, however the King bedroom had only a very small child size dresser and the second bedroom (2 twins) had NO dressers at all! Both had double closets however. Also there were no curtians on the windows so it was quite bright in the morning. The kitchen was big...had a breakfast bar as well as a dining area with a table that sat six people. It was very nice but could have used some updated items (toaster was quite worn, pans a bit old). The living room was large as well with nice lighting. There was a balcony overlooking the indoor swimming pool. There was no air conditioning but the unit did come with a fan for each window! I guess they cater to the ski crowd..not the summer vacationer. The staff was very nice. I did love the location of the Inn. It was right on the Main street so you could walk to all of the cute little shops in town or to dinner without having to drive if you didn't want to. However, there was not much to do activity wise, so I wouldn't recommend bringing the kids.. but certianly a nice place to go and relax.

The room was not only clean and updated, but fully stocked for our trip.Very impressive for the price. The onsite restaurant featured great entrees and was very convenient for us.Would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Wilmington.

A nice all season resort.. , fishing , swiming,and hiking in the summer and the greatest color of leave's in the fall........ in the winter great ski;ing and snowmobiling...... walk around the quaint little mountian villiage with it's many arts and crafts stores , agreat place for family vacations anytime of the year... jaxs Also there is a nice wrap around front and side porch with big rocking chairs to sit in and watch the world go by and take time to smell the flowers

The unit I stayed in needs updating, from appliances to carpeting. Being right on main/truck route, it was noisy all night. Amenities are limited.

Otherwise, it's a fantastic location from which to explore Vermont, New Hampshire & Massachusetts, and easy access to many skihills and nature trails!
