We were there in March 2007. Stay away
unless you are with a lot of kids. If you are
interested in visiting the Mar del Plata area,
this place is too far from the city and is in the
middle of nowhere, and at least 1 kilometer
from the beach, although they provide a
shuttle. The units are poorly designed, not
well furnished, no couches to watch TV and
the ground floor units are damp and the only
way to circulate air is to open windows that
have no screens...so in come the bugs.
Watch out for telephone charges that you are
not told about when you check in. They begin
as soon as you start dialing and apply even if
you get a busy signal or no answer. Also, the
huge weekly charge is not for a free spa
treatment, it is an extra fee for the use of the
facilities. If you want a place that kids will
enjoy, this may be the place since they seem
to have a lot going on for them.
