We stayed at the Madeira Regency Club for two
weeks in September 2005. The resort has a great
location next to the Royal Savoy and most
apartments overlook the ocean. The resort has
been undergoing a refurbishment and the
apartments have new furnishings. A new pool bar
restaurant is to be constructed in the near
future. The service was excellent and the resort
was helpful in arranging sightseeing tours.
Funchal is an easy 15 minuate walk from the
resort. Both taxi and bus service on the island
is excellent. Highly recommend Madeira.
