I took advantage of a special rate for Bison Ranch. It was $39.95 for a 2 night stay. The apartment slept 6. The masterbed room with a king size bed had a deck off the front of the apartment and a separate bath. The second bedroom had twin beds and the living room had a murphy bed (a bed stored in a wall cabinet) that pulls down. It was a queen size. The couch was comfortable enough that a 7th person could sleep on it. The kitchen was very nicely equiped with a dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, toaster, dishes, etc. The hallway to the bedrooms had a washer n' dryer in a small closet off the hallway.

Everything that a family would need to spend a peaceful stay in the quiet town of Overgaard. Yet, for those who want to play there was a pool and jacuzzi, horses to ride, and a playground for the kids, a pool table and ping pong table, and exercise room.

I think that this is the beginning of my love afair with timeshares. If they are as nice as this one, and the cost not too awfully outrageous, I certainly will be interested in staying in more timeshares.

Very nice accomadations. The only drawback was the 30-45 min drive to the nearest grocery store or shopping center. We took side trips to the Grand Canyon 9 hrs. round trip. We also took in the Dinosaur Park and the Petrified National Forest outside of Holbrook. Canyon De Chelle was also worth the drive but plan on a full day, not just a few hours as the staff had told us. We were there between Christmas and New Years Dec 2002. The jacuzzi was nice, but the pool was not open.
