This resort is privately owned which they take pride and excellent care of the property, staff and facilities. Had this timeshare for over 25 years and have loved every time I've been there.

Quiet property on the beach. Two pools. On-site restaurant.

We have had a pleasure of staying at La Vista in February of 2019 and 2020, hoping to come back in 2021. Great location, very clean, comfortable, we love being able to enjoy breakfast and coffee on the patio or the balcony (we have stayed on the ground floor as well as on the second floor, can't tell you which one I liked more). The staff is fantastic! You cannot beat the location (wait, I have already mentioned that ;-)!!!! You are steps away from the Red Piano Bar, Peli Deli convenience store that has all your essentials, and the great new bistro that opened in 2020 (can't think of the name, but the food was on point!). you are a short walk away from the pharmacy, and our favorites "Snoopy's" and "Toppers" bar. We have even walked to the Yacht club where they have the best Bloody Mary's. Hoping to be able to secure a week in February of 2021!!!!

We have also stayed at the La Vista Beach Resort in a 2 bedroom unit. It is a very spacious lock-out unit, with entrances through from the parking lot or beach. Very serene and relaxing beach and poolfront, but convenient to restaurants, beaches, and all other island activities.

To Linda 1577 - you left negative reviews for both La Vista and La Vista Beach even though your family only stayed at one of them. They are different resorts so if you own at La Vista Beach (the new part), you are not automatically an owner at La Vista (the older part) and vice versa. It would have been nice if you had left the negative feedback for the appropriate resort instead of both of them. I also rent at different resorts in St. Martin to augment my owner weeks and I am always glad to come back to La Vista Beach.

My children stayed there in May and had to leave because there was never and hot water to shower with and they wouldn't do anything about it. Would not recommend the place.

This is the best resort in St Maarten. Only 16 units in the Beach Resort, right on the ocean between beautiful multi-million dollar homes. Just steps from the pool and the beach. The resort and units are well maintained and comfortable plus the staff is very helpful. The restaurant is well known throughout St. Maarten with fantastic food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just sitting on the deck, listening to the waves and watching the sunsets restores your soul. A must place to visit.

to me the beach front building is the nicest place on st martin. the timeshare itself is family run, and the best place to be in st martin. i have been vacationing there for 15 years, and nothing beats this place.

the winding staircase rooms are in the old part of the resort, called la vista, not la vista beach.

There a 2 La Vistas, one is the La vista Beach resort which we saw on a tour and was very nice the adjoining property is La Vista, which we stayed at. If you trade here be very careful, the unit we had is awful,it was a duplex unit that had a winding staircase with a rope for a handrail, it was hard to get up and down, there was only one toilet on the lower level,which did not work that well, the shower had absolutley no pressure. The positives is its cleanliness, and the view from the upstairs is beautiful.
