Many factors may decide if you like this condo complex, number one being the condition of the unit as they are individually owned, managed and cleaned. Do your homework to find a good one. We rented ours directly from the owner. Ours was very clean and well maintained.
There are 10 buildings at Kamaole Sands, people have their favorites based on floor and location. Some people would like to be near the pool, others the beach. To some inner circle location matters, to others it does not. Some units do over look noisy roads so this may bother some people if they spend a lot of time out on their balcony.
Location is great. Across the street from beach, close walking distance to many restaurants and only $2 to ride the bus to the grocery store.
Very family friendly, nice pool. Basicly you are renting an apt/condo.
This is not a hotel so please do not expect it to be one.
Kamaole Sands worked well for our family and budget. We rented a one bedroom in building one: the layout of the one bedrooms are that they are long and feels like two seperate areas. Bedroom & bathroom on one side, 2nd bathroom living room (ours had a murphy bed) and balcony on the other.
We enjoyed eating meals out on our balcony and watched the fountain change colors which was located in front of our building. Later we would pull down the queen size murphy bed and fall asleep to the sound of the fountain. Selected this unit based on many factors, with the murphy bed being our top reason. Would definately return here and most definately recommend it - but choose your unit carefully.
