Wyndham Beach Street Cottages Reviews & Ratings

On our second stay here, we spent 3 nights in March and loved it just like before. Check in is now on site, but guests are still welcome to use the amenities at Majestic Sun a short distance away. The units are spacious; there is a free laundry area, and the pool is centrally located. Good restaurants are nearby and the Emerald Coast beach is just across the road. The Cottages are a restful, friendly two-level complex which we definitely prefer over the usual high rise buildings.

Just got back from our 5th stay at the Cottages as owners. It has become a home away from home for us. The quaintness and proximity to beach, dining,shopping and activities without highrise glitz and bother are our cup of tea.

We just got back from staying a week and were not impressed.

If you are thinking that you are facing the beach, this is not the case. Our unit was 20a/b, which is near the back and the pool. Their is no view of anything, except the pool and the heater was broken, so no swimming. We had the top and bottom of the same unit, both were well worn and in need of a make over.

This was our first time to Destin, and we found it to be very interesting. We would come back, but would not stay again at the Cottages and in the Spring.

Our family vacationed in Destin in May and we loved the heated pool, privacy and coziness of this resort. Unit 24B is exceptional with spaciousness. We had 24A&B which compose one whole cottage and it was perfect for a large gathering. We faced the beaches and loved having great restaurants within walking distance.

These Beach Cottages are great way to experience a quiet and relaxing atmosphere the way Florida used to be some time ago, without having to wait for an elevator or dealing with a parking garage. Just park your car in front of your cottage. Beach Street Cottages are located just across the street from the beautiful white sands of Destin, FL. A cajun style restaurant and a famous seafood restuarant are located within a stones throw.
