Northstar California Resort Reviews & Ratings

We love the Northstar Ski Resort at Lake Tahoe! It is wonderful spot for our winter vacations. This establishment has heated pools, ski/snowboard valet, in-door parking, a private small movie theater, and activity center that comes with your resort fee. Additionally, the proximity to the ski slopes make it really convenient for those that want to be close to the action and without wanting to worry about the hassle of traffic or beginning/end of day crowds.

The rooms themselves were relatively large and convenient. The kitchen has your traditional stove tops, refrigerator/freezer combo, pots/pans/dishes, and utensils for your use. The room also has dryer/washer combo for those that are opting to stay longer that require some cleaning while they are staying here.

We stayed at Northstar in October during the shoulder season (not a lot open) and it was still amazing!

We will be back!!

This resort is absolutely beautiful. It’s surrounded by the forest and has so many amenities to keep you busy. There is so much to do at the resort and lots to do with an easy drive from the resort.

Our favorite ski resort in the Lake Tahoe/Sierra Nevada mountains. Ski-in, Ski-out. Northstar Villiage is wonderful, and a Gondola within feet of the resort.

We come every year and look forward to it.

Location, location, location. Take gondola up to Ritz to ski out. Ski to resort on Home Run trail, weather permitting, and store in equipment with the ski valet.

A wonderful place for our family. We visit every year and just love the convenience, the service and the amenities.

I just stayed at this resort with a few friends. This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. The fluffy snow provided outstanding skiings all day long. There were 4 fireplaces in our 2 bedroom condo. The fireplace on the balcony was an excellent touch to enjoy the snow covered trees in warmth. The lobby gondola was a most spectacular amenity making skiing for the duration of our stay both convenient and very high class. Such a lovely resort. Cant wait to visit again!

I have gone there during spring, summer, and winter. The unit was fully furnished, clean, and staff is find and helpful. Our activities were all within 5 miles or on the property.

We really enjoyed the patio fireplace.

Our very favorite resort! Truly spectacular rooms with underground parking (warm). Make sure that you reserve the private media theater during your visit...such fun! The gondola and ski valet are terrific! Located on the right as you come into the village means an easy walk to the ice skating rink, shops, and restaurants. Enjoy!

Fabulous resort; rooms are beautiful; location is right next to the lift so it is very convenient. And the Northstar village has great restaurants, shopping, rink, etc..
