Summer Place Reviews & Ratings

I could not disagree more with the previous review. We just spent a week there from 7/27 to 8/3. These units are set up like townhouse. The one bedrooms are two floors and the 2 and 3 bedrooms are 4 floors. The units are huge and roomy. The units and the complex are clean and well maintained. While we are used to more resort type timeshares (onsite Disney for example), we found this place to be a nice quiet family oriented place. IF you are used to and want bells and whistles, this place is not for you. Otherwise, if you want a clean, roomy townhouse close to the beach, then give them a try. This is basically an uninteresting poorly designed motel type establishment. Reminiscent of the old style strip motels where you park at your front door and have an outdoor pool adjoining the parking lot. (At least at Summer Place you have the pool on the backside of the units so as to be able to avoid the parking lot while using them). Were it not for a location that's roughly three blocks to the beach, (although it happens to also be adjacent to a large Drug store, so there's nothing aesthetically appealing about its surroundings), this timeshare would have no appeal whatsoever. Exact location is across from Sea Colony where Pennsylvania Avenue meets with Route 1.
