We always enjoy spending time at the WorldMark Big Bear Resort. It's the perfect place to enjoy many outdoor pursuits, or just lie back and let the breeze take you away. The beauty of this resort is just what you need to recharge your batteries.

What a great location with 2 resorts (1 ticket) just 5 min away at Summit/ Bear Mtn resorts! The property itself is awesome with plenty of space, full sized kitchen, huge covered spas throughout the property. Walk to Stater Bros, pizza, donuts, Jersey Mikes, etc. Head into town for awesome restaurants, bars, coffee/ spots. Perfect family get away or guys/ gals escape.

I love this resort! We last came in February of this year and got to use chains for the first time. But made it up the hill safely and it didn't snow much during our stay. The resort is set up like log cabins and we found a small hill for our daughter to go sledding right by our cabin. We found a great rental shop that has snow pants and other winter supplies that most people use for skiing and snowboarding. We had a blast!!

Stayed there during the winter break of 2008. Everyone enjoyed it. There are so many things to do in the area, and the resort is close to town. We tried a few restaurants, and they were all good. We also bought some meat at the local grocery stores and had BBQ (in the snow). Definitely will go back.

We booked through our Wyndham timeshare ownership, and planned on staying for 4 nights, but had to cut our stay short to only one night (April 4, 2008). The resort is nice, decent size, with nice amenities (though we obviously did not get to use them all). While not on the lake, the resort is very close (on the other side of Big Bear Lake Blvd). The resort is very close to Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. There are no shuttles anywhere, but I assume most everyone will have their own transportation when coming here. The neighborhood is also very nice with a lot of residences.

We had a 2 bedroom unit, which had one king bed and two twin beds (there is another version with a king bed in each bedroom). There was a nice sized kitchen, dining area, and smaller family room (which had a Murphey Bed in the wall). There was also a small patio area which had its own gas BBQ.

There are a couple of spa/jacuzzis on the property, which seemed to be well used. We did not get to use them, but they looked to be a good size. There is also a nice sized recreation room.

The staff was VERY friendly at the check-in, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful with surrounding restaurants and attractions.

Buildings 27, 28, and 29 are closest to the lake with some partial views (probably better from the 2nd floor units - we were on the 1st floor).

Hope to go back soon for a longer stay.

We just returned from a one week stay at Worldmark Big Bear Lake. We went with our kids and grandkids and had two units (a one bedroom and a two bedroom). The resort staff was friendly and responded quickly to any requests we had. The units were nicely decorated and as mentioned in prior reviews have all the necessities (including washer/dryer, bbq's, all kitchen needs, 2 tv's per unit, 2 VCR's). There were plenty of towels per unit and you could exchange them for clean ones.

There were 3 spas which were nice and hot, a children's pool which was 1 1/2 feet in depth, and a regular pool which ranged from 3 1/2 feet to 5 feet in depth. It seemed a little cool. The recreation center had lots of table games and equipment was available at the desk for basketball and tennis. We didn't use the fitness center but it looked like there was a lot of good equipment.

Big Bear is a resort area and there are a lot of activities available.

We were approached by a Timeshare Rep. by phone but they seemed to be very low key and when we said we were not interested the issue was not pushed.

I would recommend this resort for a relaxing get-away. It is especially nice for families with children.

I was very impressed with my studio. There was a microwave and stove-top range for cooking, and a full-sized refrigerator. There was a fully stocked kitchen as well, including spices that went beyond salt and pepper. The furniture was nice and tasteful. There was a murphy bed that came down from the wall, and a fireplace. There was a hot tub outside of our unit, but I did not try it out. It was too cold as there was still snow on the ground, unmelted. I will definitely come back and recommend this resort to my friends!
