This resort has been closed since sustaining damage from Hurricane Ian on September 28, 2022 and has still not reopened as June, 2025. The following review was prepared before Hurricane Ian. This is a small, friendly resort --- and one of only two timeshare properties anywhere in Bonita Beach. 24 out of the 26 units are 1 BR, with two 2BR units on the top floor. Elevator on site. All 1 BR units have an attached screened lanai. Each unit has its' own washer and dryer. Small but fully equipped and functional kitchen. Gulf beach is right across the street; the resort is situated right on Estero Bay.

This is an older resort (built in the early 1980's) but it is well maintained. It is very difficult to "exchange" into this place during winter season, since winter fixed weeks are owned by people who mostly use their "Snowbird" weeks themselves. The rooftop deck, where people gather each evening in good weather, provides a great, unobstructed view of the Gulf sunset. Waterfront pool and hot tub on site at the resort. I wish that the beds were King size instead of Queen size. Staff is friendly, helpful and competent.

This is a great little place and a hidden gem. Its' management company (VRI) was acquired by Capital Vacations in May, 2022. Capital Vacations does not seem to have a very good reputation (to say the least), so it remains to be seen what effect their acquisition of VRI will have (if any) on the future management of this property and / or other VRI-managed timeshare properties.

This is a well maintained resort with a very caring staff. Close to Ft. Myers Beach and many restaurants to try. There is a pool and jacuzzi on a nice pool deck and BBQ grills on premise. Added plus is a screened balcony in every unit with patio furniture.

This is a tired resort, maintenance and housekeeping have not been consistently carried out. There are no amenities in the unit, bring or buy all you need, other than dishwashing liquid and after 5 days we ran out of that. The floors are tile and were filthy, wore white cotton socks and the bottoms were black. No pool towels are supplied and you cannot take bath towels from the unit and are not supposed to take your own towels but rent them for $5.00 (for the week, per towel) or buy them at the desk. Ths office closes at four in the afternoon and there is no one on the premises until the next morning. Would not stay there again. If you should lock yourself out of the unit, there is a $25.00 charge to get the door opened.

Aug. 2006 update: Well I am staying at the resort as I type. Nice to see that they have wireless access now. Since the hurricanes they have fully restored all the facilities and the beach is fabulous as always. Still pretty deserted for Florida standards. Went out on the free pontoon boat yesterday and had a great time. Cost me $4.00 for gas and that was it. Great deal. I'm renting 2 weeks this year since I haven't been able toget into this resort for a few years with a rental. Thanks to the owner of this unit that I am able to rent from her. If you like fishing and don't mind walking across the street to a really nice beach then this is a great economical alternative to Naples & Fort Myers beach. Sept. 2004 I stayed at this resort about 4 years ago and found it to be in a nice location despite not being directly on the beach. It is near busy Ft. Myers Beach but far enough away that the beaches are still pretty secluded. Unfortunately you have to cross a busy intersection to get to the beach which could be problematic with little children. Our unit was updated but apparently a very heavy smoker occupied the unit before us and the smell was horrible. The free pontoon boats was a plus as the area rents them for about $50 a day. There were not too many exchangers there the week I stayed as most were locals from the area. I was renting my unit and was the only rental in the building. The pool area is nice and the fishing pier is fun with the kids. I would go back again if I could get a rental. Haven't had luck this past few years getting an available unit to rent. Nice view of the back bay fron the balcony. Parking is limited. Grounds have barbecues. I live in Miami, FL

Very, very nice! We spent Christmas week and it was great to be able to use the float boats for a morning or afternoon for only the cost of the gas. Great location on the bay side of the key, across the road from the Gulf. Loses one star since there is a restaurant next door, but otherwise you need to drive 3- 5 miles to the mainland or Ft Myers Beach.
