Because it is a Wyndham resort, it is excellent. The king size bed is amazing, like a cloud. The bathtubs are jetted. Full modern kitchen. Trash is picked up outside the door daily and fresh towels can be exchanged there also. We love to sit on the balcony overlooking the ocean for coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The palm trees offer nice shade, but there is lots of room for sun lovers also. We love that the internet works well on the beach 🏝️ also. There is a full service beach bar and restaurant. Also fine dinning upstairs. Stingray City is a must. Lots of snorkeling and diving on the island. It is not on the crowded part of the island so it is perfect!

Whether you desire to just chill and relax in a gorgeous beachfront setting, or be active with diving, snorkeling, kayaking and other water sports, this resort will accommodate your every need. Great, friendly staff, amazing views and wonderful accommodations in this island paradise!

Totally located in the best spot on the island . . far away from the hotels and cruise ships but close to many great restaurants, the island's BEST scuba dive boat operators next door (Tortuga Divers) and right down the road (Ocean Frontiers), Rum Point, Starfish Beach, etc. etc. etc.

5 Stars!!! East Side of the Island offers relaxation and all the sand and sun you can imagine! Resort offers as much assistance as you want, without the pressure. There was always a concierge available to offer assistance in activities or reservations. We rented a car so we could take the short trip to the other Cayman hotspots and didn’t miss thing. The resort is clean, and the restaurant and bar were awesome, with grocery and other restaurants nearby!

I am the owner and have been going to the Reef since it was built over 20 years ago. I will be at the Reef from 1/18-2/1/2025. I own other properties, but this is the best of them all.

Charming resort in the east end of Grand Cayman. All rooms are beachfront with easy access to the beach and pools. Amazing and super friendly staff. Great beach bar and restaurant. Fantastic snorkeling right in front of the resort!

All rooms are beachfront. Studios located on the Castaway side are spacious. Resort is well maintained. Water is Caribbean blue.. Snorkeling offshore. Mini mall across the street for consumables and dining. Located on the quiet East End of island. Scuba Diving by Oceanfrontiers right on site.

Great Quiet resort, East End of Island. All rooms are suites and all are beachfront. First floor rooms open directly onto beach.

This is a wonderful resort with breathtaking views of the Caribbean from every room, great snorkeling right off the beach, spacious and comfortable units, and accommodating and friendly staff, in a beautiful and tranquil setting.

I and all renters have always raved about the courtesy, helpfulness and sincerity of The Reef’s staff and the excellent restaurant and location.

We have been owners at the Reef Resort since 2001, and continue to absolutely love it! For us, the location on the East End of the island is ideal - close enough to the west end and 7-Mile Beach for when we are in the mood to go into the city, but far enough away so as to be able to enjoy the tranquility of the gorgeous reef and beach without the throngs from the cruise ships. And it's very close to Rum Point and Starfish Beach, which is where we very often go to just hang on the beach and float in the ocean.

My family has been coming here for years & it never disappoints! Relaxing & beautiful!
