This a very safe area. Like any other city you should be wary wandering around at night. Use your head and you will have access to wonderful food and culture.

We had high expectations of staying here even though it was a studio unit. Everything about this hotel/resort was less than expected. From having to move furniture to lower the Murphy bed to the lack of knowledge of the front desk staff. They seem to have no idea of where to find breakfast or to buy a newspaper... The 'resort' has one prominent feature which is their gas firepit. It's actually located on the second floor surrounded by hotel rooms with no view whatsoever and wasn't functional for the entire 3 nights we were there. Also there's a $39 daily fee for parking a car. You'd be far better off at another luxury hotel in town.
