iF PEOPLE WANTED THE BORING Ritz Carlton then they should of gone there, but i guess it was a liitle to rich for clint's taste,I've been going to many places for the last 60 years and by far i truly thought that the resort was very very nice and i realize not everyone will love it but they offer so much and the views are incredible!!! I own two timeshares in Hawaii ,one in Palm Desert and one in Capistrano Beach ( Dana Point) and have been here a few times i like it a lot and WILL BE BACK!!! Be thank you were able to have that week and WOW! got it back two for the price of one.

This is the third or fourth time I have stayed in this timeshare property. Once again it was a good stay. This is actually a review on the next door property Riviera Beach and Spa--they are connected. I love this location, as the beaches in Dana Point and Laguna Beach are 10 minutes away. San Clemente a couple miles, away offersa great jogging trail for around 2.5 miles that you can walk or jog. I like using the bikes also that the resort offers to you for free for 2 hour blocks--nice to bike across the street or down to the Harbor and buzz around or even all the way down to San Clemente. I believe this time was the only time I have stayed on the front side/beachfront. I was a little worried about sleep as I had seen previous comments about the Amtrak and knew it runs right by. I drove in and took a fan with me that i put in my bedroom and did not hear anything. However if someone had been sleeping on the sofabed in the living room they probably would have heard it running. I do not believe it ever whistles there, because it does not stop, but you can hear the cars going thru on the track. Overall I would stay here over and over as long as nothing changes for the downside. I like the kitchens and kitchennettes, you can save some money there as well. This time they offered a opening and ending ceremony with some foods, snacks. This was a nice touch although i would rather just have something substantial versus allthe junk food. Like one or two decent tacos, and skip all the fattening treats, like cookies, chips, cupcakes, etc... I really wonder about all the negative comments put about this resort--Of course it is not the Ritz Carlton. The ONLY negative I would say about the resort is the Train Noise. I am a super light sleeper, but with my fan running next to my bed I did not hear anything. There seemed to be a ton of families and peole at this resort, but the 1 bedroom unit i had was as quiet as can be inside, which I was pleasantly suprised by that. Also I happened to be on the south end and every time I had parking in the lot up top which was super convenient. Hope to visit many times in the future. Thanks

I stayed here with my husband and our friends. It was great weekend getaway. The room was nice. Like a small apartment. We cooked dinner in the room and enjoyed a bottle of wine on the balcony watching the sun set. The pool was very nice as well and they had hot tubs that were at the perfect temp. All in all I had a good stay.

Beautiful location across the fwy from beach, private separate entry to building, extremely large well maintained rooms, very nice amenities. I've stayed elsewhere too, I'm a happy owner. Great place to stay and visit parks North and South. Each within 45 min.

what a disappointment! we traded our fabulous cabo resort thru II for this place. it is a 5-star flop. will never trust interval ratings again. train tracks between you and beach, and rv parking blocks view of beach. very busy highway. units are small, outdated. carpet and furnishings very pedestrian. complained to II and at least got our week back
