Mariner's Boathouse & Beach Resort Reviews & Ratings

This is a "Friday to Friday" timeshare facility --- something which is highly unusual in this particular geographic area, where virtually ALL other timeshare facilities are "Saturday to Saturday". Mariner's Boathouse units are quite small and somewhat oddly arranged inside, in an apparent effort to mimic the interior of a boat. This was a decent facility to visit before it was severely damaged by Hurricane Ian in September, 2022, but it was certainly not a "five star" resort by ANY stretch of the imagination. Not sure about its' current post-hurricane status.

We have been owners since 1986 and have enjoyed many vacations there with are kids. They love the bunks which are like being on a boat. The units are getting a whole new nautical facelift in 2016. The grounds are maintained and the view is good from any of the units. It's very quaint and relaxing place with access to the beach trolley a few short steps from the street to take you up to Fort Myers Beach.

Am an owner and am pleased with the maintenance. It sleeps six, although only one full bedroom but it also has bunks and a hideabed, and a second bath, all in a closed off section of the unit. Small, congenial owner base.
