This resort is going to be rebuilt. I have seen the plans and it will be roomy, beautiful, and all units will have ocean views with private balconies. There will be 2 pools, a large infinity edge hot tub, and free shuttle service to the casinos. The resort is expected to be open in 2008 or 2009 and it will be the only timeshare on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It will also be totally brand new from top to bottom as Katrina wiped it out down to the foundation. It was a good resort before, it will be great after it re-opens.

I rented a week here over Memorial Day in late May of 2003 and had a great time. The units are getting older, but they are large and the grounds are nicely kept. The beach across the street is nice for walking but not for swimming. Close to casinos and fishing and New Orleans.

Our stay there was very disappointing. We had asked for an ocean front unit. We were given one, but there was a main highway running in between the resort and the ocean. Very busy and noisy. Couldn't sit out on the balcony and carry a conversation. Amenities where poor and the unit itself was old. Wouldn't recommend it at all.
