We had such a great week in December. We enjoyed the Winter Festival in Hawley and took the Santa train ride through the woods to the Christmas tree farm. We even had snow! Tanglwood is a very clean and quiet place to visit. The staff is very helpful; always ready to answer your questions and give suggestions about what there is to do during your stay. The lakefront view was wonderful! We do plan to return.

We have enjoyed Tanglwood Resort as a classic summer retreat in the Pocono Mountains on the beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. Although the hotel has a 3-star rating, likely due to the dated interior and amenities, we feel the location and staff service make up for any shortcomings.

Great Location with Lake Wallenpaupack out your front door. Swimming Pool out front. Views from balcony. Lots to do in area. Staff has always been helpful to us. Rooms well designed and well decorated.
