Please explain the new "before tax" and service charges.
I was ready to post a listing of a timeshare rental and was checking rental prices asked by other owners of weeks. That's when I saw the prices listed "before tax," and then noticing that many listings had huge extra charges added to them for the renters. What's going on? In past years, I've paid the $99 full service fee on top of the $59 listing fee.
Can someone explain why the previously simple and economical approach to renting timeshare has become so complicated and expensive?
Many thanks, R
