Mexican Timeshare Solutions is a Scam
Imposters have been posting favorable reviews in the forums encouraging people to contact this scam company. They are called " shills " . They impersonate satisfied customers and rave about their experience. That is just to get you to their website where they can run their con.
Sometimes they claim there is no fee until you get results. That is a lie. They will gain your confidence and then claim that there is a " fee " that has to be paid upfront. The whole scam is just to get that upfront money from you. Anyone that is dumb enough to fall for their scam will then end up on the " sucker list " and they will continue to ask for money until you stop sending it to them. If anyone is stupid enough to give them credit or debit card information then they will bleed you dry.
They are good at what they do and once they lure you away from the forum they have you trapped. Anyone can create a website and use a mail drop box for an address. Before you even think about getting involved with a company check them out. Ask them for their business license and where they are registered. Ask for an actual business address and check it out. You will find that neither exists.
I decided to start this thread because they are using other threads so when someone Googles them nothing appears. This is the only way to stop the scammers by exposing them. Now when someone looks them up they will see this thread and be informed.I encourage anyone who has been taken by them to contact the Attorney General in their state and file a complaint. Please post any information you have if you have been in contact with them.

Thank you so much for this comment. A "shill" left me a message on this forum about Mexican Timeshare Solutions and that she was able to get out of her timeshare through them. Not sure if it was a scam, and I looked it all up, but I did not pursue anything. Thanks for saving me from that scam!

Seems like someone from MTS would call you out if you were not completely correct. I note that the "Raintree complaint" that appeared on this site last week has been duplicated over 5 times on the other complaint sites. It seems like it is a fine line between complaining about a timeshare company and advertising for another company. The internet has a lot of info. Just not all of it is correct.

The scammers are out there trolling for victims. They use any tactic to get their next victim to bite at their scam. NEVER pay anyone money upfront that claims they can get you out of your contract. If they claim that they will refund your money it's a SCAM !!! They will claim that there is no upfront fees but then after they lead you on and wear you down they come up with a " fee " that has to be paid before they can complete the deal.
You have a better chance of winning the Nigerian lottery than getting your money back from the scammers. Don't end up on the " sucker list " . Don't get involved with the scammers and keep your money in the bank where it belongs. You worked hard for your money don't give it to someone who never worked a day in their lives.

Would you care to tell us how much you ended up paying MTS? Or are you going to be like all the other MTS touter(s) on here and just give a sensational story, then disappear?

If you're taking bets, my chip is on "option B". NONE of these exuberant (alleged) success stories EVER include any verifiable facts or figures --- clearly because none exist.

The following folks post constantly on www.complaintsboard.com. They have no shame..........
https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1310737 - 25 comments https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1579005 - 160 comments https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1530723 - 26 comments https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1530723 - 40 comments
All these comments advertise the MTS website. All appear innocent, but I just wonder how someone can be screwed by the timeshare industry 160 times??

Lance, if you happen to have some time and you want to have some fun - copy and paste the web addresses to the end of the 7 digits. These people are amazing. They drop all kinds of "helpful" messages on complaint boards and expect people to believe them. It is SOOO unfair and unethical. Buyer beware. Thanks to DonP for starting this thread...........

The reason started this thread is to narrow the search for people who are considering using them and have not heard anything negative about them . The scammers have been clever as to not use their scam company name in the topic of a thread. This way when someone googles them this thread should be at the top of the list .

Has nobody filed a complaint on the BBB? I looked at their profile and they have 3 compliments and 1 complaints. The complaint has no details or contact info and the compliments all look fake. Actually the second review isn't even on topic for the company MTS. I know, doesn't the BBB verify there reviews...Yes. They must have missed this one but some how it has a BBB badge next to it anyway. https://www.bbb.org/greater-san-francisco/business-reviews/timeshare-advocates/mexican-timeshare-solutions-in-hayward-ca-383105/reviews-and-complaints
Time out!!! I just pasted the link from above "https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1310737" for just the first profile complaining about timeshare. She has separate complaints against 12 different vacation clubs! How is that even possible?
WOW!!! The second profile really has 160 comments all just on timeshare scams, all linking to MTS, and in some cases 5 or more posts/comments a day. A complete scam...
The BBB is just crap these days. WOW!

Everyone of these profiles are absolute crap! You can open them and see that they have posted just one topic and about a dozen resort programs. Every link you click has a link to MTS in the AD/spam/comment. That is just amazing...
I have found quite a few here they are:
https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1530723 - Susan 68 - (26 spam comments) https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1579005 - Deby Cole - (160 spam comments) https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1307040 - Evita 75 - (12 spam comments) https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1011642 - Venessa Moore - (27 spam comments) https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-460192 - Jay Gonzales - (11 spam comments) https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1066237 - Al Mor 68 - (5 spam comments) https://www.complaintsboard.com/profile-1497003 - Mark Miles - (40 comments)

Tom, you've heard of "fake news." When it comes to MTS, almost all news (endorsements) are fake. Look under recent postings on complaintsboard under "timeshare" as the subject. There are an army of people drumming up business through these endorsements. We have a recent poster here who has put up numbers (21) of fake posts recently. The internet is a crazy place.

I looked at their site and they have about 200 pages in their site map. They have pages for everything in timeshare. What a scam. I sent an email to the site mods but I am guessing that will do nothing. If it does come down it will most likely go back up.

kristim129 wrote:Is there a reliable company to get me out of my grand Mayan timeshare is just bought in May '18?
Simply put, No!
First of all, you have passed your rescission period (5 days in Mexico). How much did you pay for this? How much did you put down as a deposit? How much is left owing?
From what you have said, my best advice would be to just stop paying anything more. You might lose your deposit but at least you won't be paying tens of thousands more into a product that is worth very little.

kristim129 wrote:What about filing a complaint with Profeco? If I stop paying will it get reported to the credit reports? I'm 16 days past and was never told by The Grand Mayan Vida Vacations there was a cancellation date.
You can file a complaint with Profeco if you want but keep in mind that they are backlogged.
If you stop paying, you might get reported to credit agencies but keep in mind that you are dealing with a Mexican company that has no leverage or jurisdiction over where you live (USA?).
