Per the owner:
For fifteen years our annual trek to Eagle Crest, located in the Bend-Redmond area of central Oregon. has been the high point of our year. We routinely would vacation during the second week of June to coincide with the end of school for our grandkids so that we could attend their festivities, athletic events, and graduation celebrations.
Along with the kids we could enjoy many of the amenities that Eagle Crest has to offer. There are glorious hiking and bike trails throughout the property and walks along the Deschutes River plus the fabulous River Walk in Bend and famous Smith Rock State Park near by..
Bikes can be rented and horses to ride are available from the on-property stables. For golf enthusiasts there are two championship golf courses. With multiple swimming pools and recreation centers there never was a lack of things to do. The property is beautifully designed and lovingly maintained.
Our visits were not restricted to the summer; we ended up coming to Eagle Crest for just a long weekend several times during the year. We loved many of the local restaurants with their unique Oregon ambiance and flair. The local breweries and ale houses were not to be missed. Plus, there is a tiny movie theatre in Bend, The Tin Pan Alley Theatre, which features independent and foreign flicks. We always planned at least one trip during our visits.
We found that by paying our annual fee in twelve monthly installments we would have a fully paid vacation by the time we were ready to travel. We were always guaranteed a restful excursion to a pristine location with gorgeous scenery, clean air and amazing possibilities for fun and recreation for all members of the family and for all age groups.
The chalets themselves feature high-end appliances and comfortable, welcoming furnishings. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning and the evening, watching the golfers play by and the deer families that often would stop for a visit.
Eagle Crest is a very special place.
