WorldMark Indio
Indio, California
WorldMark Indio is a 27-acre oasis of a resort located in the Greater Palm Springs area, a Mediterranean-styled getaway with all the amenities needed for an unforgettable vacation! WorldMark Indio features five courtyard whirlpools, a full-service spa, tennis and basketball courts and a championship golf course right property that guests have access to. Indoor amenities include a health club and recreation center featuring pool and ping pong tables.
The resort is composed of 453 villas ranging in size from compact studios to expansive three- bedrooms. Every unit includes classic WorldMark amenities such as cable TV, DVD player, stereo with CD player, Wi-Fi access, balcony or patio, barbecue grill and in- room laundry facilities. One-bedroom and larger villas also feature full kitchens and cozy fireplaces.
The year-round warmth and sunny weather makes Indio a perfect destination for desert hiking and horseback riding in the many canyons that surround the Coachella Valley. Resort visitors should also out Knott's Soak City USA, Palm Springs' only water park, or take a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway for a two-mile ascent aboard the world's largest rotating tramcar up to a pristine mountaintop wilderness. Also, over two hundred golf courses blanket the area, making it one of the world's premier golf destinations. The area is also home to a number of casinos run by local Native-American tribes.
