The New Orleans Jazz Festival happens every year the last weekend of April and the first weekend of May.
At the Quarter House, week 17 is guaranteed to coincide with the first Jazz Fest weekend every year. Checking in on Saturday of the first week and leaving on Saturday of the second, allows for four—and with good travel planning— five days at the Fest, with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the magical city of New Orleans. It’s a wonderful home away from home.
Quarter House offers a welcoming, historic and convenient place to stay in the heart of the city. Cross Canal Street to find the St. Charles streetcar, that travels under the live oaks branching over the mansions on the Avenue and brings you to the famed uptown clubs like Tipitina’s and the Maple Leaf. A short stroll through the Quarter with its world-renowned restaurants, curves past the Mississippi and leads to the downtown clubs of Frenchmen Street and St. Claude Avenue. And Jazz Fest can be reached by special assigned city buses and/or the streetcar a block away on Canal Street. A perfect place in the perfect location at the best time
