Tropic Sun Towers I & II

Ormond Beach, Florida

Located on the quiet shores of Ormond Beach just north of Daytona, Tropic Sun Towers offers visitors a relaxing retreat still within access to all of the area's best. During your stay, take advantage of plenty of amenities, including a relaxing heated pool and spa, east and west sun deck areas perfect for all-day tanning, shuffleboard courts, fitness center and saunas. In addition, Tropic Sun Towers even offers beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles for rent to ensure an amazing time spend beachside.
Tropic Sun Towers offers one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. One-bedroom units sleep four and feature a queen-size bed in the bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa in the living area and an oceanfront view of the Atlantic. Two-bedroom units sleep six and feature a queen-size bed in the bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. All accommodations are equipped with a full kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, and full-size refrigerator, and a 32" flatscreen television with DVR in the living area. The bedrooms include either 19" or 24" televisions.
Daytona Beach is a beach town where you can experience almost anything - if water sports are your interest, you can go surfing, kayaking, canoeing and parasailing. The city is best known as a center of automobile racing and one of the few places where its hard-packed sand lets visitors drive on the beach. Take in the NASCAR scene, get a day pass for the Daytona Lagoon Water Park or fish off of Main Street Pier. Explore the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, which stands as one of the best preserved in the nation.

  We have always enjoyed out time here, we usually went in early December to ease the stress of the middle of the holidays. It is one of the slowest weeks of the year in Florida. That means no lines, we could get in every restaurant, every golf course. With no wait times. The new pool is amazing. We have only had an issue with a bike rental, minor stuff. Great location, lots of beach walking.

  I love Tropic Sun Towers mainly because of the fabulous staff and beautiful location. I love that they rent bicycles at no charge and everything you need is there. The pool is pretty big. Parking has no charges. We were able to walk to the restaurants and some small shops.The ocean view is awesome! I am selling because we are buying a house in Florida and my family is in Arizona and New York so are time is limited.

  I love this resort. It's not the fanciest place I've ever been, but all of the units are ocean view and the beach is wonderful. The pool is nice and plenty big. The hot tub is small, but it's not a big complex so it works out fine. The staff is very nice, and the sand toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs were free for our use. I really enjoyed the decks available on the third floor for sunning and picnicking. The restaurants near the resort are very nice and reasonably priced. I recommend Steve's Famous Diner and Riptides. Overall, it was the best vacation I've had in a long time and I'm going back next year.

  We are new owners and used the resort for the first time June 5th-12th, 2010. We loved it!! We used the bikes and chairs for free. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and we were very pleased. Can't wait to come back again next year. They try hard to please everyone. The lady at the check-in desk could have been nicer.
