    Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida

Located directly on the ocean in the tropical hamlet of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea lies Costa del Sol Resort - an oasis of peace and relaxation removed from the bustle of Fort Lauderdale to the south. During your stay, enjoy 300 feet of sandy beach, a large heated swimming pool, sundeck ideal for lounging, whirlpool hot tub, sauna, gas grilling area and complimentary tea and coffee in the activity room.

Each of Costa del Sol's one-bedroom units are beautifully decorated and offer all the space and comforts you'd expect, including a living room with sleeper sofa, dining room, king or queen bed in the bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen with microwave & dishwasher, full-size bathroom, two cable televisions and a private balcony overlooking the azure stretch of the Atlantic Ocean!

The greater Fort Lauderdale area, best known for over twenty miles of continuous ocean beach, also rates top billing as a yachting capital. The city has nearly as many canals as Venice, and more than 2,600 area dining spots are available to satisfy a wide range of tastes. Just north of Fort Lauderdale is Lauderdale- by-the-Sea, a quieter but equally enchanting vacation spot. From its world-famous fishing pier to charming boutiques, restaurants and gift shops galore, you'll find much to explore in this quaint seaside getaway.

We have been coming here for a couple of years and they have been wonderful. Staff is helpful and the ocean view is perfect. It is a low rise building and the beach is uncrowded.

Phenomenal getaway right on the ocean. Fully relax on the beach during the day and enjoy the nightlife at the city center a block away. Other days, it's perfect to grill on their excellent setup or cook in the full kitchen inside the unit. Our family has been coming here for 40+ years and going on our 4th generation. A true gem.

I have stayed here numerous times as an owner and it is great. By far the best place in the whole area. The beach, pool, facility and location to the village is tops.

New owner at Costa Del Sol. First visit was June 2016; purchased an Oceanside unit. Nice room, nice pool, steps from the beach. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed it so much, we bought another week in June for next year and the future.

We stayed March 26th for 7 nights and had an enjoyable time. I appreciated the location. You can walk to the pier and the Aruba Beach Cafe. A few other restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. We rented a car at the airport and were very glad we did because it made access to other shopping and restaurants once we crossed the causeway. The airport rental was a breeze for pickup and drop off. Got a great deal from Hotwire. I would visit again. The property was clean and decently maintained. Beach terrific.Pool area has plenty of seating. They have a very large grill and other vacationers were always grilling for lunch or dinner. The unit kitchens were well stocked. Air conditioning was more than adequate. My only gripe was the day of arrival. The unit wasn't ready until after 3pm.After a long day traveling you just want to unpack and settle in. I don't understand it because they demand that you exit the unit by 10 am. I thought it was pretty cheesey of management to grab you for $ 7.00 plus tax to use the safe. Oh well, I gladly paid it but as a matter of principal it shouldn't be listed as an amenity on the property if there is a cost. They charge plenty for the rental. I saved considerably renting from the week's owner instead of the property directly. Some of the other vacationers have been coming the same week for years. No problems with the redweek process and I would do it again.
