Just returned from a week here, and it was fantastic! I would have given 5 stars across the board except that there is no midweek cleaning service, which I think is needed when staying at a resort. The rooms are updated and very comfortable! We did not have the best view which usually bothers me, but the rest of the resort is so beautiful, we spent little time in our room anyway. There are two pools - one family pool and one adult pool which both are located overlooking the ocean and are equally beautiful! The hot tub was located at the adult pool, which kept the kids out of it! The resort is located a mile from the hub of Kailua-Kona-- so is far enough away to be quiet and private, but close enough to walk to breakfast in the morning! No beach onsite, but the best snorkeling is 2miles away, with a great beach for kids. Improvements would be an operating pool-side bar/grill but Would definietly return!

We were there Feb 12 - Mar 1, 2009. This was our 2nd visit and it was as wonderful as the first. It is right on the ocean and most units have ocean views and some are ocean front. We were in an ocean front unit (#612) and the view was great. You are about 1 mile from Kailua-Kona and it is a pleasant walk or a quick drive. The staff is great. The units are large, kitchens are well stocked, units are clean, and beds are comfortable. Parking is in a garage and is free. There is no internet access in the units but free WiFi in the very comfortable, open, airy lobby area. Beautiful grounds. Great snorkel beach about 2-3 miles south of resort. Best beach on the island is Hapuna Beach Park about 30 miles north of resort. I highly recommend this resort.

OCEANFRONT!!!! MY dad comes to Hawaii every year and we always stay at the RoyalSeacliff. It's so peaceful and very quiet. My favorite is the 8ft pool on the south side of the resort there's also a dry sauna that's tucked behind the BBQ area.Walking distance to Kona town is also great.I live here in Kona so take it from a local RoyalSeacliff is a wonderful HAWAIIAN vacation

Club Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff is a beautiful resort on the Kona coast within walking distance of downtown Kona, wonderful local restaurants, and the harbour. It offers free parking, full kitchens, 2 large outdoor pools, a hot tub, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Its location on Ali'i Drive means easy driving access in either direction to any point on the Big Island.

The Royal Sea Cliff Resort is a great resort located right on the ocean and within walking distance to downtown Kona. Views are fantastic with fabulous sunsets. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. The 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom units are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We have been staying here annually for over 15 years.

I love this location, I have stayed in it a couple of times. Its a great location, NICE pool, and very clean. Its centrally located in Kona, easy access to the airport and the city. Grab a rental car and see all of the sights! If you are a hiker, pack a warm coat and go on the Haleakala night hike. There is so much to do on the Big Island! THere is also a Luau on site.

Great property. On the ocean side with access to the ocean. Within walking distance to town (Kilua Kona). Usually have 2 bed, 2 bath with full kitchen. Points can be deposited in RCI to extend life.

Beautiful location overlooking the Pacific Ocean! Has two pools, one for families, and one which is adults only. Located in Kailua-kona, close to restaurants, beaches and lots of activities; snorkeling, swimming with the manta rays, boating, star gazing at Mauna Loa, and just a short drive to Volcano National Park!

We love staying in Kona and this is our favorite location right on the ocean! The units are comfortable and it’s easy to get to! Right on Ali’i Drive

This resort seems to have it all! Breath-taking views, pools, beautiful rooms, all amenities and comfort, helpful staff, free gated parking and so much more! #1 choice when staying in Kailua-Kona.

My husband and I have been to Royal Sea Cliff many times and often bring friends. They are always amazed! Free parking (but walking distance to the Kailua-Kona town area). Location right on the ocean (although lava rocks will keep you from entering) provides gorgeous sunsets. We frequently barbque in the area near the ocean side pool which has grills, tables, chairs, restrooms etc. which lets us cook, socialize and swim. The 2 BR units are spacious with beautiful lanais, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and even a w/d. Staff is wonderful and helpful, place is immaculate!

I was on Big Island many times, but this resort is Awesome place to stay. We enjoyed this ocean view from our 2 bedroom unit and staffing was very friendly. Nice pool and happy environment. Nice resort! Strongly recommend.
