We recently hosted a family reunion last year during the holidays and this resort was everything and more than we expected. It has the resort feel and scenery that you would expect though is not over commercialized. Old Hawaiin flare, while in proximity of local shops and eateries. If you fancy yourself farm goods and gift items, the local farmers markets have what you need. A short walk down to the cliffs exposes you to amazing snorkeling with plenty of fish life and sea turtles to observe. This location is enough fun for the family or a romantic getaway for a couple. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing resort!! Clean, comfortable, friendly! So much to do in the area! (Recommend renting a car).The views of the Pacific are amazing! Staff are great! We will be regular visitors!!

Lovely resort within walking distance. Beautiful views of the ocean. Helpful staff and close to Kona where you’ll find great restaurants and shopping as well as a farmer’s market. Try the parasailing in Kona as well as the shave ice.

Our favorite Kailua-Kona location. On the shore above the water and on Ali'i Drive. I easily walked to downtown Kailua-Kona. The building is older but very well maintained and updated. The walkways are quiet with many floral accents. The rooms are spacious, and the lanai is both quiet and private. The AC is hardly needed. In fact, with the offshore breeze, (trade winds), we didn't use it. Parking is never bad, but not always ideal (there are other guests ya know). It is very conveniently located.

Have stayed here multiple times. Great location and GREAT staff service. They helped me get into luau's that were already closed and tickets. Very clean.

This Wyndham property is just a gem. The staff is accommodating and shows interest in making my stay as good as it gets. The accommodations and the views are to die for. I couldn't believe we would wake up to that. Anyone vacationing here gets a little piece of heaven.

Friendly staff. Relaxation awaits you. Peacefull and relaxing setting. Like home away from home.

We stayed at Royal Sea Cliff for three consecutive weeks and loved it. The location is near downtown Kona and many restaurants and shops and beaches were within walking distance. Can't beat the Hawaii weather.

My family and I have been to this resort several times since its first grand opening.

What we love and why we keep coming back ~It's one of the newer resorts in town which if you've been to hawaii, everything is a little dated and worn if its not regularly updated. ~ It has wonderful amenities for children, and free boogie board and water gear you can borrow. ~ Kitchenette means we do not have to dine out every day, saves tons of $. ~ Def always go for the 2br, lots more space.

We have stayed at this resort at least 5 times since 2001 and loved it , especially personnel , rooms are large and the views are great. Activities were interesting and discount tickets were a great value. Doris & Jose Martinez-Rockwall, TX

We had a 2 bedroom right on the ocean. The view was beautiful. The unit was large and roomy for the 4 of us.

The activities were great and so was the activities director. You didn't really need to leave the resort - there was so much to do.

Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful location, right on the shore. We watch the sun set over the Pacific and heard the surf pounding.

Rooms are spacious and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday.
