We stay here twice a year. The only complaint is the late check in. The staff could be honest regarding check in policies. We have been members at the Mayan resorts for 25 years. We stay there for (1) week in the spring and fall. We stay at another time share property for (2) weeks during the same time period. Mayan resort time share personal find it difficult 😞 to be truthful. And this is coming from individuals who own time share property at the Mayan for years. We agree that the Mayan Place in PV is worth staying at.

Our first and still favorite Vidanta location- Smaller footprint - about 200 Mayan Palace units. One bedrooms are about 750 square feet with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms are lock-off with an added master room / hotel room.Daily housekeeping and daily towel replacement. Easy access to the PV Marina.and it's restaurant selection Oxxo right across the street. If you want the big resort experience go to the Vidanta Nuevo Location. If you want easier access to PV - this is the location you want. Spent two weeks here in Feb 2022.

We stayed here the week before Easter this year. This place is great! We stayed in the 1/1 and it was plenty of room for my husband, myself, and our 2 teenaged daughters. We were ocean front and LOVED our view. This is a small but clean & cozy resort. The food was good and the 2 for 1 deals during breakfast and dinner were a nice touch. The resort has no night life but that suited us just fine as we are early risers and appreciated the quiet! The resort is in the Marina where a short walk enabled us to gaze at huge yachts, see the resident crocodile, enjoy different restaurants, ice cream/yogurt shops, stores. A 15-20 minute walk to Starbucks at the far end of the shops allowed us to sip coffee while getting wifi for free. The staff were friendly and hard-working. The room was comfortable and my girls loved ordering room service. The amenities are older but fairly well maintained. We will be back!

.We stayed here for 2 weeks in 2012 the first half of November. The temp of the pool was great, not cold like some places. One of the reviews said the beds were hard, maybe they replaced the mattresses, they were fine. There are lots of small and large iguanas around, sometimes the big ones will cruse just a few feet from your lounge chair by the pool

We stayed 1 week at the Mayan and loved it. The location was perfect for being somewhat away from all the busy areas yet still be able to walk to restaurants and bars at the marina. Every kind of food is readily available. Across the street is a great restaurant for breakfast at The yatch club. The rooms were very comfortable for us, having couch and sitting area and a separate bedroom. Only downside was very small refrigerator (hotel room size) and no balcony to sit out on. Lots of areas by pool and beach to sit. If you are looking for partying place this is not it.

I stayed at the mayan palace marina vallarta and just LOVED it!! You will no longer be put across the street as others have written in the reviews. Those days are now long ago. There is also no 1 in 5 rule, as another person wrote??? The sea garden and water park are no more, demolished for room for a new grand mayan. This place has location, location, location. Stroll to the marina, across the road and enjoy many resturants and shops. A bus stop at the street also, for downtown adventure. Fishing, of course! This is my fav mayan palace location.
