We stayed there the last week of April, 2004 and we were rather pleasantly surprised. The units despite their unusual shape are quite comfortable with the exception of the showers which are very difficult to use and adjust. The resort is located in the middle of "hill country" and we were really pleased in that it was much prettier than we had imagined. You have fairly easy access to Austin (30 minutes) and about 90-100 minutes to San Antonio. For golfers (which is the reason we went), there are several excellent courses within 30 minutes of the resort. There is also a multitude of restaurants from which to choose. There are, however, no activities for families, but plenty of things for families to do on your own. We would have rated it a 5 star if the bathrooms had been better. Well worth it!
