    Delray Beach, Florida

Welcome to Dover House, located right across from the beach and a short walk from the excitement of Atlantic Avenue in beautiful Delray Beach. In addition to beautifully landscaped grounds packed with walkways, courtyards and native foliage, Dover House also offers amenities such as a heated pool, picnic areas and a prime location within the city that puts you within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

Dover House's accommodations feature fully appointed kitchens, whirlpool tubs, spacious living areas and open balconies, perfect for enjoying the warm, sunny Florida weather. These one-bedroom units sleep up to four, and feature a pull-out sofa bed as well as a king bed in the bedroom. Decor is bright and modern - there's no need to sacrifice style for comfort!

Set sail, go surfing or snorkeling, enjoy a cruise on the Intracoastal waterway, or build sandcastles on the beach - no matter how you spend your time away in Florida, Delray Beach is a great destination vacation. Stroll down trendy Atlantic Avenue, which is lined with art galleries, boutique shopping, and sophisticated fine dining restaurants. The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is a must-see destination while visiting in Delray Beach. This museum is South Florida's biggest Japanese art and culture center. It houses historic Japanese art, artifacts, and even has an authentic tea house.

We stayed at Dover House first week of March 2009. The resort is a motel style two story building with a fountain and grounds in the centre All units are one bedroom with a pull out sofa. Units are on the small side but the bedroom is large with a King bed. The dining room table is also small. The units are very clean and comfortable. Kitchen supplies are on the sparse side. Kitchen is small with fridge and freezer under the counter. There are chairs in front of each unit where one can sit and view the ocean which is across the street. The grounds are beautiful and all areas of the resort are well maintained. The pool is large enough and is also well maintained. There are washers and dryers on the premises but not in each unit. Staff is okay. The resort is open 9 - 5 and closed on sundays.

The location is great as it is around the corner from Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach with many restaurants, and boutiques. I would return to this resort and recommend it to anyone who likes a quiet relaxing resort.

We just bought 3 weeks at Dover House this year, sight unseen, and we really were impressed by this timeshare when we got there. The units were just done and they are in excellent condition. The units are only one bedroom but everything you need is there. The maintenance couldn't be better and the grounds are kept up everyday. They have a very private pool that is in the back. All the resort staff are very helpful and friendly. You can't go wrong staying at this timeshare. The location is super. You can walk to all the restaurants on Atlantic Ave. and the beach is just across the street. There is not a lot of activities, its a great place to relax and enjoy Florida. Barbara

    • Even though I have 2 different units for weeks 51 and 52, the staff always accommodated me and left me in the same unit for both weeks.

7.10-21-7.17.21 We had a great visit at Dover House Resort. Everything is within walking distance. Coffee shops, Ice cream store and a variety of resturants from Burgers to Steakhouses. The beach is across the street or you can enjoy the pool and BBQ on the patio deck. The gounds are beautiful and green. Nice place to read a book or just sit and relax and enjoy the view. The room was beutifully decorated and the king size bed was comfortable. The living area is nice with a large TV and the kitchen has a breakfast bar. The kitchen comes fully equipped. All you need to do is shop for groceries. There is a dining room table with four chairs for dining comfort.

I own two weeks here and love it. I bought one week in 2006 and a second week in 2009. I have a one bedroom unit close to the pool and facing the courtyard. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the ocean is across the street! Dover House is a quiet place, perfect for a winter get-away!
