The location of this resort is fantastic! It is just one block off of Winter Park's Main Street so you can walk to the shops and restaurants if you don't want to cook in your unit. There is also a free shuttle to the ski resort on Main St. It has a heated outdoor pool, two hot tubs, a sauna and a game room with a pool table, air hockey and ping pong! The units are fully stocked, so you don't need to worry. We will stay here again!

I first stayed at this resort as a rental guest back in 2019. I was so impressed by the value and location, that I ended-up buying a week from an existing owner. Since then I have purchased an additional 11 Resale Weeks and I plan to buy more. Here's why:

I first stayed at this resort as a rental guest back in 2019. I was so impressed by the value and location, that I ended-up buying a week from an existing owner. Since then I have purchased an additional 11 Weeks from other owners, and I plan to buy more. Here's why:

      1) This is not a new resort. In fact it was built in the early 1980’s. What it lacks in ‘glitz’ however, it makes up in simply great value and an amazing location.

      2) The resort is located just one block off the Main Street in beautiful Downtown Winter Park, Colorado, with a Free Bus-Stop right outside the Resort. Being in the heart of the Town of Winter Park, restaurants, bars and shopping are all within easy walking distance, and the Winter Park Visitors Center is just a 5 minute walk away. Parking is available at the Resort, but given this great location, free bus service and easy communing options to Denver, a car is not necessary.

      3) The resort features a Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool; Outdoor Summertime Gas Grills; Two Hot Tubs & A Sauna; A Games Room with Two Pool Tables, Fussball Table, Air Hockey Table & Table Tennis; Coin Operated Laundry; and finally Two Communal Lounges.

      4) All Units Are Spacious Two-Bedroom Two-Bathroom or Three-Bedroom Two Full Bathroom & Two Half Bathroom Self Catering Units. Main Bedrooms features Queen Beds. Second and Third Bedrooms have two Double Beds in each room. In the Living Room there is a pull-out Queen Sleeper Couch. Kitchens and bathrooms have been recently updated with granite counters, etc.

      5) Winter Park is the closest major mountain destination to Denver ... just 67 miles away. With easy access to 765,000 acres of public land, Winter Park is home to endless adventures and an unparalleled and unfiltered Colorado experience. Winter Park boasts 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, from powder stashes to smooth groomers in Winter Park Territory, or to the remote stretches of Vasquez Ridge for sweeping views of the Fraser Valley and wide-open spaces. https://www.winterparkresort.com/

      6) The Free Lift Bus Service runs year round with service between Winter Park, Fraser and Grandby. These routes are extended in the Ski Season making getting anywhere in the area easy and fun, including the Winter Park Resort Ski Base. Buses run from 7.30am to 2.00am during Ski season, and from 7.00am to 2.30am in the Summer. Please visit the Lift Website for more information. https://www.theliftwp.com/

Negatives: As stated, this is an older resort and while very comfortable, this is NOT a 5 Star Resort. Management are also NOT on site, but are pretty responsive. Generally stuff gets fixed or taken care of pretty quickly following a call. Also the resort is located near a train line and has no AC, so in the summer units can get warm and it may be necessary to open windows to let in a cool breeze. Unfortunately this also let’s in the sound of trains rumbling by at some unusual times of night, so if visiting in the summer, I would definitely advise packing some earplugs and being aware of this issue and adjusting your expectations accordingly. The trains do not seem to be an issue in the winter however.

Would like to report a very nice and convenient place to stay. Our unit had new carpet and nice furniture. We stayed in one of the back units and had a nice view of the woods. Certainly would stay here again.

Very large 3 bedroom and 2 bedroom units, with upstairs bedrooms; not fancy, but adequate for relaxing or for ski vacations. It is 1/2 block from the free ski shuttle, the Pizza Hut and the Shed Restaurant (excellent gourmet Mexican food), and you can walk a few blocks to the center of town. The hot tubs are indoors and relatively small and the outdoor pool is all outdoors (both will be disappointing when compared to newer resorts).
