I booked a week at this resort from an owner. When I arrived I had to pay an upgrade fee of $900+ If I wanted to look at anything except the pool. I spoke to other guests there who didn’t have to pay that fee. I will never go back to this resort again.

Perfect location with easy 15 min walk into town but away from the crowded area. My only complaint (been going since 2011) used to be the pushy timeshare sales. However, they got new management and new rules and that is no problem at all now. Really magnificent place and wonderful staff.

The hotel was very nice right on the swim-able beach, that's hard to get in Cabo, a master room has a washer, a dryer, and a dishwasher, which was a huge plus, but if you want to eat out side of the resort, it is a quite bit of walk especially if you are hungry. We often took uber as we opted out all inclusive option. We did not like their staff and service very much, some of them were even rude. Because we were renting from an owner, they did not give us any room choices at all at check-in even the resort was half empty. It's not like we asked for an ocean view room, we simply asked for some choices. The studio side of the room smelled like stinky old hair product, we couldn't get rid of the smell no matter what (that's why sleep comfort is 3 stars). Master bedroom side of the entrance door wouldn't lock properly, still they wouldn't change the room and told us to wait till next day for them to fix it (which they never did because we didn't want to wait around for them to show up.)

Villa del Arco is AMAZING!!!!!! Location is perfect! Right at the end of Madano Beach which makes it far enough away from the noisy area closer to town, but close enough to walk the beach to get there! Staff is always great and friendly and no reasonable request goes unfilled. One of the staff even brought my wife a fan from her home to help my wife sleep better at night! The accommodations are luxurious and comfortable. We have access to all of the restaurants and pools at all 3 of the resorts- Villa Del Arco, Villa Del Palmar and La Estancia. All-inclusive is optional with a 3-day minimum. It is also just opposite of the famous ARCH. There's just no better beach resort vacation possible!

Gorgeous resort, close to town but also very private if you do not want all the excitement. Our kids love the pool and we always do the meal plan as it is a good deal for all the lunches and smoothies and waters at the pool (even if you do not drink a lot of alcohol).

The staff is courteous and helpful, food awesome at all the restaurants. We have stayed at many hotels around the US and these are top quality. Comfy beds, lovely cleaning staff each day and nice amenities. Very safe too....been to Mexico over 15 times and never an issue

This is one of the nicest places to stay with first class rooms and grounds. We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. The location is quiet, private, but still close to town. Cabo itself has plenty of traditional places to eat and street markets to shop, but also has plenty of tourist locations, high end shopping or excursions to do. There's a reason so many celebrities visit or own property in Cabo - it is a great destination.

We rented a full 2 bedroom, 3 bath unit here for New Year's week. It is a beautiful resort, great location with a beautiful spa. If you are a renter, however, please know that they will not honor the view category of the owner. When we checked in, we had to sign a paper acknowledging that we would not be getting the owner's view. We were put in a unit that looked out on another building and a vacant lot that was used for dropping off the parasailors at the end of their ride. Every renter I talked to had the same (or worse) view. The owners there should complain because if they bought a certain view, they should get it no matter who is going to be staying in it.

This resort gets the lowest rating possible only because of their Timeshare Sales Staff. Signed a timeshare deal with 7500.00 down (huge mistake), got home with an entire 4 days to rescind and did so via FedEx and Fax. A guy named Shane will try to downsell you into a smaller unit to keep your deposit. If you don't agree he then will tell you your deposit is non-refundable. Mexican Law requires a FULL REFUND if you rescind within 5 business days. VILLA GROUP TIMESHARE SALES REPS ARE COMPLETE SCAMMERS. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY. I will work through my credit card company for a charge back since I have proof I rescinded the contract in time. VILLA GROUP DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR MEMBERS == THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. I was thinking about buying on the secondary market for 1/5 what they charged me for the same thing, but doesn't seem a good idea given how they are acting. Bottom line - do not attend the timesahre presentation or if you do, set your watch and leave in 90 minutes.

Rather beautiful location on lovely Medano Beach. Great ocean views. Service is prompt, always respectful and virtually unlimited in it's scope. Great pool or brave the ocean if that's your desire. Lots to do in the area or simply lounge at the pool all day.

This resort is amazing. The location is perfect close to all kinds of shopping from local merchants with unique items to Walmart. Activities are everywhere around you and the beach is a few steps from the resort. The pools are to die for and the service is excellent. This is the kind of resort everyone dreams of staying at.
