Just around the corner from Union Square this San Francisco Resort is our favorite. Upscale with parking On-Site and off the streets. Access to Club Donatello and Views of the city from the rooftop. No need to venture far, everything is right there.

A wonderful hotel, remodeled and beautifully appointed. The staff is so sweet and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and spacious, especially for a boutique city hotel. As usual, don't use the mini-bar unless you want to pay for it. The only thing is the expensive car parking, typical for SF locations.

The Donatello is a great location if you want to be near Union Square. The rooms and lobby have all been recently renovated and are beautifully decorated and clean. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are really quiet for being in the middle of downtown. The suites are spacious and have a mini fridge, microwave, small bar sink and even dishes and wine glasses. We stay at the Donatello any time we have a show we are attending San Francisco. You can park your car and walk anywhere. We love the Donatello!!

I stayed almost a week at this Resort. The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. Room was big, with King bed, a sofabed, sitting chair, small coffee table. A microwave, sink and kitchen utencils, plates, cups were there as well. We enjoyed the hotel, and parked each day at a fee of $28.00+tax. No in/out fees, and they brought the car quickly. The only downside why I would not stay again, mostly everything we were interested in was near the wharf. At night this area was undesireable to walk around after 9 PM. There was a lot of homeless in the area, infact, one dressed with a Batman mask sat on the wall of the hotel as we entered the one evening!! During the day it was fine we walked all around with no worry.

For a city timeshare this is fantastic. The location of course scores top marks and you are a 2 minute walk to Union Square.

The unit is adequate but do not expect to make a meal, only really suitable for drinks and small snacks.

If you need it there are people on hand to give you guidance and information to make your stay the best possible in this wonderful city.

We stayed her 6 year's ago and finally where able to buy a week on line. The room service food was 5 star. Around the corner was the Curran theatre we could walk or take a bus to all the city has to offer. The staff and amenties are in line with a top notch hotel and a quiet restful nights sleep..

We can't wait for our week this year as it is theNew York City of the West Coast.

This is a very sophisticated resort and has probably the best location you can find in San Francisco - very near Union Square - in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Location, location, location is what you have going on here! The staff is extremely accommodating, helpful, and very professional. I accidentally left my purse in a taxi and the concierge made call after call to all the taxi companies to alert them and try to locate my cab driver. What service! The suite/room was really only a large hotel room. It was very comfortable, but lets face it, it was not a "typical" timeshare unit. I wouldn't have wanted to pay their daily rates for it, however, because it is an ultra chic (expensive) hotel. I'm going to give this resort five stars, for its location mainly and for its sophistication second. But don't expect a large unit or many amenities at the resort/hotel itself.
