This is a very quiet resort. The units are nicely equipped and have comfortable bedding. We were on the top floor and the a/c was very efficient. The buildings have elevators but are not handicapped accessible. You must climb 7 steps to reach the first level which is where you can get on the elevator. There are no ramps to avoid the steps. I would not recommend Port O'Call for anyone with mobility issues. There are two nice pools, two hot tubs, and a great sauna and steam room. There are grills on the property that used to be gas grills but are now charcoal grills. Our unit had a screened porch which was great to avoid bug bites. Walking to the beach is a bit of a trek but driving to the Shipyard Beach house is super easy and convenient. There are also restrooms available there. Would I stay here again? You bet!

This is a beautiful standalone cottage with loads of privacy located in Shipyard Plantation. It has a private pool, gas grill and loads of patio space for the unit's use only. The cottage has a fireplace in the large living area that overlooks the pool and patio area, a spacious kitchen with eating area, 2 bedrooms with baths on the first floor and a 3rd bedroom and large bath on the second floor. The cottage is very well maintained and has internet service. It comes with golf and tennis daily for 4 and the beach is nearby. Our family has enjoyed spending time in this cottage for many years.

Port O'Call is a great family oriented location at HHI. It is only 2 blocks to the ocean, many biking /walking trails, free golf (for some units) less than 1 mile away, and free tennis next door. Large pools and hot tubs, and kids activities. All you could ask for for your vacation.

This Resort is inside the Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island. Heated pools are onsite and a beach gate with a 1 block walk to the beach. 27 holes of golf are inside Shipyard and other great golf courses are nearby.

Been our family's summer destination for 3 generations! Port O'Call is the perfect resort which mixes a little bit of privacy with convenience to so many amenities in and around the Shipyard Plantation!

In my mind, Port O'Call is the best bargain on Hilton Head (I may be biased because I own 2 summer timeshare weeks -- one in the 300 midrise building, one Valencia cottage). The rental prices on Redweek are usually very reasonable, you can find 3 bedroom units if you need them, and Shipyard is close to everything. Port O'Call is a perennial RCI Gold Crown resort.

Port O'Call within Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island, SC is a premier Gold Crown Resort and has been for many years. Check-in is always smooth. Cleanliness and unit function (AC, WI-FI, TV, phone, garbage, etc) have seldom been a problem. Multiple pools are lovely and well maintained. Very short walk to the beach!

My family has been visiting for the last three years. Our unit is conveniently located near the heated pool, hot tub, and BBQ area. It's on the main floor, making it super easy to access. Plus, it's just a short walk to the beach. The staff at the clubhouse are fantastic, and I absolutely love the pool fitness instructor!
