Just returned. The resort is beautiful. The room is very clean and nicely decorated. We like the huge bathroom with two sinks and a lot of storage space. I forgot to bring our reservation #. We had a hard time to check in due to they changed the computer system in 2005 and our reservation was made in 2004. They later gave us extra credit for the inconvenience. It seems the check in desk does not organized too well. The happy hour was nice. The drinks is toward the strong side. I had to request more 7 up to dilate my 7&7 drinks. The snacks were just chips. I expected a little bit more from the experience staying in other Embassy in US. The breakfast was great. We had selections of fruits, pastries, scramble eggs, bacons and other.

We booked some trips with Boss Frog. They are good. We took a two hours surfing lesson thru them for $33 each (taking a timeshare tour price), free luau and a snorkeling trip. The surfing lesson was fun. We later went to Honolulu trying to continue having more lessons. It costed $75 a hour. So take the lesson in Maui. In Honolulu, we stay in HGVC in Hawaii Village. The HGVC has 850 sq. ft for one bedroom. It was smaller than EVR and the bathroom was small. I kept telling my husband that I like EVR better for everything comparing with HGVC Hawaii Village in Wikiki.

We love this place. We have stayed there 4 different times over the years, and it is our favorite place to stay.

Great location close to bars, restaurants and shopping and right on the beach. Access to the long boardwalk. Huge, wonderful pool with on-site restaurant/bar.

We have enjoyed many stays at our resort and always loved EVERY minute of them! Our grandkids have had special memories created there with one of them deciding to attend college in Hawaii!

This resort is amazing, it's in a great location, the rooms are large, and the pool is very big, and includes a children's slide, not to mention there is also a hot tub. You have all the amenities you could possibly want, in addition to food trucks directly behind the resort, stores across the street, and walking distance to Dukes!! Whaler's Village is a short drive away, and go a little further and you can be in downtown Lahaina!!

Great resort for families, great swimming pool, easy access to beach, walking distance to restaurants or close drive to sights , shops, Lahaina town. Staff very friendly and great service. Beautiful grounds, clean and picturesque. Very relaxing.

The Kaanapali Beach Club is in a great location near Rainbow Beach and a long "walking beach"to the south, and a short drive to Kapalua Beach to North ("best in US a couple yrs ago"), famous Honolua Beach, and multiple others. It is also convenient to Lahaina and all sorts of restaurants--from food trucks next to property, to Duke's (easy walk) to multiple popular Lahaina eateries. Excellent value for ocean front location with incredible sunsets!! We can help with hints.

Love this place. Come once or twice a year, Great location. Rooms are very roomy Laundry available at no charge on all floors. Very nice employees.

I have stayed here many times and enjoyed the property each time. The staff is great, the location is perfect and the price for staying at a Kaanapali beach front property is affordable for the unit type.

This is one of the Best Resorts! The room is clean and spacious! The Oceanview deluxe corner room has wrap around balcony and 312 is our fav unit to hear and see the ocean from ! Whales breach regularly in this room you will see it all! Happy Holidays!

Rented a week through Hawaii Weeks which I found through Redweek.com. Everything was perfect. No problems getting the week and room I wanted.

Although this hotel feels a little dated now, I still totally love it. It's very "low key" and family friendly and doesn't feel as crowded as the Westins or other nearby hotels. It has a lot of charm and great Hawaii atmosphere and the grounds are beautiful. It's also located near the Times market and a lot of food options within walking distance.

The only unfortunate thing is the hotel lost a lot of its beach about 5 years ago in a storm. It's very sad but we just drove down to the public beach nearby and went snorkeling there. Or you can just walk to them via the boardwalk which is a beautiful walk. The pool is really nice and so is the new hot tub they installed a few years ago. Wish they had more umbrellas but there were plenty of pool chairs.

If you have a family or just want a relaxing vacation this is a really nice resort. Just make sure you avoid any timeshare presentations. They can ruin your vacation so just say "no" if offered no matter what kind of deal they try to give you to attend. It's not worth it!

I requested to change to another room, so I had a partial ocean view for a scenic price. :) It is clean and spacious. I had a wonderful visit.

Great resort. Very family friendly and right on the beach. Spacious lobby and garage parking for free. New huge adult hot tub. Putt Putt golf for the kids and kids play area. Very close to everything. We plan to return each year.

Great location. Walk to supermarket and restaurants. Short Maui Bus or taxi ride to Lahaina and Whaler's Village (Boutique shops and Restaurants.) Car rentals nearby.

Always able to get a parking spot and a poolside chaise lounge, which is not the case in many other pricier resorts. Facility has a great pool and is on Kaanapali beach.

Wonderful service and friendly, courteous and helpful staff.

We are staying in a 2 bedroom suite with a wonderful ocean view and could not be more pleased. Unit has a very open feel and is spacious. There are five sliding glass doors to access the wrap around balcony which we leave open all the time to enjoy the cool breezes coming off the ocean. I have actually slept outside on the balcony a couple of nights on the lawn chair with extra padding provided to us. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large frig, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, blender and two stove top burners. Housekeeping even brought us a crock pot. The living and dining areas are large and there are three flat screen TVs. The large swimming pool has been recently refurbished and includes a volleyball net and a kids section with a long water slide. There are plenty of chaise lounges around the pool and beach area and the new padded cushions are a nice touch. There is a poolside restaurant and bar where you can enjoy Happy Hour bargains and watch the whales and beautiful sunsets. I just wish I did not have to return to frigid Minnesota in 10 days.

The first time my wife and I visited Kaanapali Beach Resort was in 2008. This place has an incredible location, on the beach, near a market/shopping center, and just of the main drag. The rooms are huge, we had a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchenette. If you have 2 kids, a 1 bedroom would be fine. The room that have mountain view futhurtest from the beach and the best views. The balcony was at least 300 sq/ft, you could have had a party of 20 out there. We enjoyed the pool area very much as well, but why would you do that when the beach is 100' away? I would most definetely come back here again. By the way, the TIMESHARE GOONS did not bug us, I have no tolerance for the timeshare presentations. I am actually in the process of buying a timeshare here on Redweek.com. My only compliant was the required breakfast fee we were charged. The service here was non-existant, this is typical for most of timeshare in Hawaii. For the price, I will deal with awful service and adequate food.

For the price, there is not any place nicer on Kaanapali. The rooms have been redone, are very large and have lots of light. Compare this to the others, where the rooms are dark and like being in a cave. The 2 bedroom corner units have walls of windows on 2 sides.
