I stayed in suite 411 and I loved it. Everything was beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful. However, the main thing I liked about the hotel was that it was pink. I have a passion for pink hotels. They are so romantic and different from the ordinary dull brown and gray beige. By the way, 411 was oceanfront. That was another good feature with the lanai. Excellent resort - breakfast was wonderful and worth every $$ -- pool/slide were a hit with the kids and the beach was not at all crowded. Only complaint is the elevators are soooooooooo slow and the laundry facilites are only on every other floor on only one end of the resort (with only 2 washers/dryers) - this could use some looking into on their end.

Rooms were clean, updated and very big with a large bathroom .... will definatly stay again. Happy hour is a must -- people are friendly and not snooty.

Stayed here in mid-October. This was an outstanding resort -- one of the nicest we've visited. Very good impression when you walk in to the open-air lobby with koi ponds, parrots, tropical plants and beautiful furniture. The beach is great, although we didn't swim at it much. We found an excellent snorkeling beach (complete with a sea turtle) about a half mile south of there.

The room had a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean, although a loud blower down at ground level made it not so peaceful on the balcony. The kids loved the pool, especially the water slide.

The king bed was a bit stiff, and we wish we could have gotten a two bedroom with the kids, but they made do with the hide-a-bed sofa.

All in all, we would go here again, but I might want to put a foam pad on the bed!

Fabulous resort for families with a wonderful kids' program and a huge 1 acre pool with water slide. The views are amazing from the ocean view and deluxe ocean view rooms. Breakfast for the whole family was only $85 for the week and delicious.

Just returned from Embassy Vacation Resorts at Ka'anapali on March 26th 2005. We rented two timeshare units through Redweek.com. It was easy to do and well worth the money. One room was to be a garden view and the other an ocean view. I was advised by the owner of the garden view room that I rented to ask for an upgrade just to see if we could get it. We did and it was spectacular! The garden view room turned into a newly remodled deluxe ocean view on the 12 floor (top)with a beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains. The ocean view room was upgraded to an Ocean front on the 1st level of rooms which is at about a 3rd floor level. It was fantastic! It hasn't been remodled yet but the view was priceless. We sat on the lanai every day watching the whales and the turltes swim by. The weather was perfect while we were there. We received daily towel and trash service and weekly room cleaning service. Renting from an owner we recieved all the benefits that owners receive. (free parking and 15% off at gift shops and the resort restuarants, express chech in and check out)

Embassy at Kaanapali is a fantastic place to stay. We have been there twice before this trip through Pleasant Holidays. Both trips were nice but this one was much better because of the price and ownership privilages. We will definitly rent through Redweek.com again. When I can rent a timeshare anywhere in the world through Redweek.com why would I want to buy one?

I have been to Maui 3 times and Kaui 1 time. We stayed at the Marriott on Kaui and it was very nice. The Embassy however has it beat based on the Breakfast and Happy Hour. If you have not been to Maui before you need to know that Breakfast is expensive and to have it included is very nice. The rooms between these two resorts are equal in my book and are more than adequate. If you spend more than 2 hours of awake time a day in the room you should just go to Florida anyway. Good pool, nice staff, good beach (ask about the rip area and simply stay away from that small area) well worth the trip.

We stayed in a deluxe ocean view room on the third floor. The"extra" $ was worth the price. The view was exceptional, when you walked in the front door and looked out the sliders, it looked like you were ON the water. The nightly "shows" at suset were breathtaking. We love the Embssy Suites and would most definately stay here again. Do the timeshare presentation even if your not interested, its worth the time spent. My 10yr old loved the pool area with slide. The beach is not all that great, we spent 90% at pool. The happy hour was great, but get there early if possible to avoid lines. Same goes for the breakfast, you'll have to excuse some rude people. Overall, a beautiful resort in a great location (right in between Lahaina and Kaapulua). We highly reccomend do the bike tour of Haleakala and the restaraunt Pacific O's. Aloha!

We just got back from a weeks vacation here and had a great time. We had an ocean view room and watched the whales every day from the balcony.

The breakfast buffet and afternoon happy hour was excellent. A great way to unwind and plan where to go for dinner. the staff was very frendly and courtious.

Resort is close to Lahaina with its various shops and restaurants.

Would definitely go back and reccommend the resort to everyone.

We just got back from a great vacation the second week of February. We were fortunate to stay on the 11th floor which has just been remodeled. The kitchen was great with the new granite countertops. The bathroom was so large and beautifully decorated. Stone floors and shower. Granite countertops and a great jacuzzi tub. The bedroom was well appointed. The staff were extremely helpful. The pool is fantastic and the grounds were well kept and spotless. We all loved the daily happy hour including the non alcoholic drinks for the teenagers. I would recommend doing a timeshare presentation so the activities are greatly discounted. Do this first so you can save hundreds on the activities. Now we know how to play the game so we'll do that next time. The Embassy is great for families and we will definitely be back! We seriously considered purchasing a timeshare while we were there, but you can buy a resale for thousands less.

Wonderful place and wonderful location on Maui. The rooms are HUGE. Our only complaints were that they need more than one hot tub to go along with the two very large pools, and the drink prices were outrageous at the hotel restaurants. So make sure you take advantage of the free cocktail hour!

Stayed for 2 weeks with 3 toddlers.

The awesome sunsets & whales off the balconies were awesome.

Great to be so close to the pool or ocean if we wanted the sand. Had showers for the kids.

Would recommend it to everyone young & old alike. Close to shops & the road to Hana. Had full amenities other then had to leave the room to do the laundry no washer/dryer in the 2 bedroom unit.

Great breakfast buffet to start out the day included for just $10 a day per room. Can't beat that price for all u can eat.

Happy Hour was a great place to unwind & meet people with entertainment before going out or whatever.

Great resort and nearby to many nice areas. Kids loved the beach, pool and the mini-golf. Staff is very helpful and very responsive. Parking was easy and plentiful. Very few extra charges either so you don't feel like you are getting "nickel and dimed" to death. I will definitely stay here again.

This resort has everything you need for a great stay. The rooms are well equipped (fridge, big screen TV, microwave, A/C, ceiling fans, large bathrooms, stereo, vcr, dvd). The grounds are kept clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Huge pool and you're right on the beach. Nightly entertainment by the pool, and you can rent movies on site. Minutes from Lahaina and walking distance to a local shopping center. Great for families or couples. We stayed the week of 4/5 and plan to return again.

The units are a nice size with a very large bathroom. The ocean views were great. We sat out on the balcony for hours watching the wind surfers. We are already planning our return trip.

Satyed at Embassy twice this year. Very friendly and courteous staff. The breakfast and cocktail reception are outstanding. The view over the pools and out to the ocean are to die for. We asked for child locks to be put on the sliding glass doors and the maintaince crew was up there within 15 minutes. Outstanding resort!!!!!
