Island Gulf Resort Reviews & Ratings

This is a great place to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom and the one bedrooms all have a magnificent view of the beach. My husband sat on the balcony day and night, looking out at the water. The other guests are very friendly and the resort has a get together on Sunday to meet the other guests. It is right on the beach and has a large jacuzzi that everyone sits around and chats. There are chaise lounges on the beach and the guests can take the cushions to put them on the chaise lounges.

There is a tram that goes up and down Gulf Blvd. that you can take to the supermarket, John's Pass for shopping and nice restaurants, etc. Just over a block away is the Candy Shoppe with its reasonably priced hot fudge sundaes with their home made ice cream and home made hot fudge. We found it very relaxing to be there.

We bought a unit here recently and enjoyed our first use of this great Resort the July fourth week. Area fireworks are breathtaking. We have a 1 BR, 2Ba. unit with the loft BR upstairs. Views of the Gulf, beach and sunsets are first rate.

15 total units at Resort. The three 2 BR units are not Gulf front. We highly reccomend this place!!!!

The Resort does not have a pool, but it does have a huge Whirlpool/Hot Tub. Some people mistake it for a pool and wonder why it isn't bigger.

Wish it had a bigger pool, but all-in-all a good choice
