Island Gulf Resort offers studio units, one-bedroom units, one-bedroom loft units and two-bedroom units. Studio and both one-bedroom confirmations sleep up to four, while two-bedrooms are capable of housing six guests. All units are air-conditioned and include a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, as well as a washer and dryer. Many units also offer beautiful ocean views.

While Madeira Beach is quite the destination in and of itself, plenty of fun can also be had in the nearby areas of Tampa and St. Petersburg. Or, for more local pursuits, head just a mile south into John's Pass Village, where restaurants, boutiques, and souvenir shops line a boardwalk. Thrill-seakers should consider deep sea fishing charters, parasailing and jet ski rentals. Family-friendly attractions include Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo and the Florida Aquarium.
