Have traded to La Cabana, for the last 7 years,
and recently purchased two week's from a
private owner!
We have never had any problems with mold,
dampness, in any of the rooms, except for one.
This was one of the one bedroom units, facing
the Amsterdam & ocean view, 2nd floor.
We were told it was due to previous visitors
leaving the balcony door open and creating
moisture in the room. Therfore creating the
smell of dampness & mold.
It was taken care of immediately . After
putting a Dehumidifier in the room and
allowing it to run for a few hours, it cleared it
up.
I am sorry for any problems that anyone has
had and I am sorry that a negative opinion
was formed on this visit on the entire resort
because of a bad experience.
I assure you that all rooms are not with mold
& mildew.
I highly recommend this 5 Star Resort to
everybody.
